Yellow warning here as well for ice but my weather app on tablet says temp won't drop below 4 tonight. Who to believe?

Light snow showers overnight but not lying so far. Still haven't swept up the debris from the storm at the weekend, patio covered with leaves and twigs, don't think it will be a priority job today again given the forecast.

Stay safe.

Lovely starry night last night, went for a wander around 2am, a joy.
Overcast and light rain this morning, still 8 degrees though so mild.
Booster jabs this morning, its about a twenty mile round trip to our nearest centre so hoping to get to St Agnes for a walk around blue hills afterwards but the weather isn't looking promising. Stay safe and warm everyone!!
Have a great day! allthumbz

Frosty and clear this morning with rain on the way for later. Feel sorry for those folk who are still without power after last weeks storm. Not sure why they haven't dug out generators for at least some of the localities.

Shopping trip this morning, wonder what we'll forget to buy this week  scratch head

Good in theory but don't forget to write them on the list. scratch head

Back from the early shop, very quiet out and about at 07.30, shop was stacked to the rafters with fresh fruit and veg.
Had the pfizzy booster yesterday, no side effects yet though Lady G has a stiff arm this morning.

Just grey and drizzly down here, very mild 12 degrees. Couple of lights to repair outside and must open the van for an airing otherwise nothing planned.
Christmas cards to write, hardly any this year, is the trend just dying out.

Have a great day

Hope she recovers soon up! Sun has come out to play, for a wee while anyway.

Had our second go at shopping this morning, Lidl and Morrisons, to get the stuff we forgot and so my wife could get the stuff she needs for her famous pear chutney (famous in this house anyway  biggrin). Lidl visit was like going into a comedy sketch, apart from having no tissues of any description, a lady took issue with those using the store but not wearing masks. She berated the store manager in such a way that everyone was able to hear her point of view. Main culprits were a rather dishevelled looking couple who had 4 of the large Spanish cured hams in their trolley  shrugg .

My favourite find in Lidl was a bottle of that raspberry syrup that ice cream shops used to pour over cones, I had a look at the ingredients and the one thing missing was raspberry  hugegrins

Heavy overnight rain, dry now for a few hours before lots more rain later. No outdoor plans thankfully because it's not nice weather.

Seems gulls are the same the world over, watched a woman set out afternoon tea on their hotel balcony in Madeira. She went indoors for something and two black back gulls snaffled the grub  shrugg

Clearing up after a night of heavy rain, didn't let up till the back of 6, lots of surface water on the roads with mud coming from the fields, didn't venture to far with Tag, really dreich conditions.
Hope the folks without power get back on the grid soon.
Mind back in the 80's we lived in Saline Fife and had a power outage for 4 days during a snow dump, open log fire, wee camping gaz cooker, we were young then.

Aye, hard to manage without leccie these days. Hope they don't have electric cars  Whistle1

Dry, frosty start here but more rain expected. The forecast is suggesting a nasty storm hitting the west coast on Tuesday into Wednesday, not looking forward to that.

Busy couple of days, haven't stopped doing chores whilst it is dry.
Managed to take the van down to Falmouth seafront today, 14 vans mostly really scruffy old VW's and ex builders vans plus several old cars people are obviously living in parked along the seafront. New apartments overlooking them are selling at over a million, no wonder there is a problem it will all end in tears. tap_fingers

Back to the weather, cool breeze otherwise sunny day so great for walking, probably a dozen or so people in swimming and loads on the beach. So sorry for those up North (isn't that somewhere the other side of Exeter) who are suffering so badly with no power, hope all is back to normal soon.

Have a noice day up!

Tipping down with rain this morning. Cleared the frost that was visible at 1.30 this morning, thought I heard a door slam downstairs so had to get up to check. Everything secure so reckon it was in a dream. Took ages to get back to sleep. silly me

Stay safe.
