Re: Weather
Going to have to eat more carrots Boaby, that'll help you see in the dark.
Sunny morning again, management inform me we are going to the garden centre so better comply, after that have to hack out some bushes as we have a lot of honey fungus around here and if you don't keep it at bay it will decimate all the rhodis and azaleas.
Enjoy the day all!

Re: Weather
Weather has held up well, spent pleasant afternoon at Culzean Castle yesterday with light cloud and sunshine, no wind to speak of. Drive up the coast road from Stranraer to Ayr is lovely. Heading home today via Nardini's at Largs for ice cream, the stopping at daughters flat in Glasgow to collect two drum kits and various clothes as she is changing job after five years as a nurse at Sick Children's hospital in Glasgow ( and three as a student nurse before that). Moving back in with us temporarily until she finds a house to buy.

Re: Weather
Still grey with a bit of dampness in the air although it's mild. Been quite some time since I last drove that road BB, had to go for a week every month for a year whilst on a training course then I was a tutor on it for a further two years. Kinda got my fill of it

Re: Weather
Got back home late last night, heavy raindshowers coming in of the sea at Large yesterday, had a soggy ice cream from Nardinis. Improved as we drove east with lovely sunset. Cool crisp morning, nice weather for emptying the van.
Have a good day

Re: Weather
Had a quiet night with no further paranormal experiences
Sky is full of dark clouds this morning and, although it's currently dry, we expect lots of heavy showers later. Perfect shopping weather

Re: Weather
Bad night for ghosts down here, visibility way down to a few metres.
Still misty this morning but sun beginning to show signs of coming through so promising to be a decent enough day to finish concreting in the roof valley that is leaking.
Have a great day all

Re: Weather
Yes, got a bit spooked by this mornings temperature and frost on the cars although it's now up to 8°c On the plus side, we've got a clear blue sky and the sunrise was spooktacular

Re: Weather
13 degrees at 0700 down here, currently 15 degrees so still in the shorts although it is pully weather now. Today is a good day, no reason why particularly just feels like a good day!! I was even offered a job in Sainsbury's as a van driver this morning when I commented on all the vans parked outside, think I will pass on that one thanks.
Shopping all put away so ready for a leisurely coffee now. Have a great day all.

Re: Weather
Still cool here but much more cloud so no frost today. The forecast is for rain around lunchtime so I will need to send the gardener out to get the final grass cut of the year done this morning* Looks like warmer and wetter weather on the way for the next few days ahead.

Re: Weather
Dry and still relatively mild, sun beginning to break through so should be really good day. Just back from the garden centre, all local grown plants and veggies which is just how it should be.
Next week s threatening to be wet by the forecast so time to switch to indoor jobs.

Walked down the coastal path to Fraisthorpe with Tag, still cool but dry, wife picked us up in the wee car and went for a fish supper.
Lots of wee birds in the hedge rows, couldn't really see them even with binocs , Redwinds and field fares flying overhead.
Dry and cool this afternoon, still overcast.

Started raining late afternoon yesterday and it's not stopped since, today can best described as grey and miserable outside. So we'll stay in

Pretty nice day down here today, took the van down to Falmouth and had a walk along the seafront there, it was like a bank holiday, only just managed to squeeze in to a parking space. Rain is coming overnight though so is this the end of Summer!
