Damp start with drizzle and grey skies. Seems we're caught in the jet stream so the weather is forecast as changeable, which we all know means different types of rain on the way  shrugg

Stunning views across the river at 0700hrs this morning with the sun coming up and the mist rising, clear blue skies now and warming up nicely. Traffic still very heavy even at that early time ( mid morning to Boaby hugegrins) so it isn't just holidaymakers, Cornwall is getting busier in general!

Another attempt to sort out the Trauma heating in the van today and check the fuses again, it isn't rocket science so hoping I can find the solution to it sending me strange error messages which even Trauma do not understand.

Nice walk out with tag first thing and later in the morning along the coastal path.
Filey campsite very busy as was is the county park, some really old rally cars at the Trackrod event, mk1 & 2 escorts ,cortinas,  Chevette, Volvo P60 to name a few.

Bit of a flat grey sky and cool but no rain. Should be relatively pleasant later with a bit of sunshine before the wet stuff arrives overnight. Watched the forecast for next week, big dip in the temperature ahead so dig out your fleeces  happyyes

Grey and overcast here with a little mizzle in the air, looking really autumnal. Need to buy some new bird feeders and top up the supplies of sunflower hearts and peanuts ready for the Winter! Lots of problems with squirrels destroying everything so not found many feeders that last long.
We definitely came back from France too soon, should have stayed a bit longer but it is still good to be back.
Canada is re opening its borders on 05th November along with the USA so suspect another departure is about to take place.
Have a great day all. up!

Dry start here with sun breaking through nicely so looks like a day of blowing and mowing. Big crash and an outline of a large bird on the window early today, no debris so hoping whatever it was got away with it!
Yes  nearly two years thanks to covid we haven't been across the pond so long overdue, probably delay a little bit longer as to be honest it can be a pretty bleak and grey area between fall and the snows coming and just rains, rains, rains Weather - Page 6 2614
Am reliably informed our Xmas turkey is running around in a field near home at the moment and in April our presence is required for the birth of hopefully a good number of goats and sheep so looking like an early December departure and May return!
Still very busy down here in Cornwall, lots of motorhomes around and traffic in general twice the amount we normally get this time of year. Has to be good for the local economy and not as manic as in the summer, let's hope the weather holds for a while so the visitors can enjoy it.
Have a good day allthumbz

Have a nice day.

Rain just starting to ease off here, has been almost monsoon like since before dawn. Noticeably cooler when I was out for some shopping a butcher and baker in town.

Should be a better afternoon.

Nice crisp bright morning.

Quite a momentous night last night, I play viola in a couple of amatuer orchestras locally and attended first rehearsal in Dundee for 18 months, what a glorious feeling to be sitting in a hall with 50+ like minded souls playing Elgar's Serenade for strings, rehearsal space doesn't have capacity for full orchestra yet so wind and brass had to stay home! Despite the face masks it felt so wonderfully like normality. Have missed playing music and the comradeship greatly during the pandemic

On drive home temperature was in single figures.

Raining and overcast, no play outside today for sure. The problem is that tends to lead to extra time surfing the net and "ooh that looks good, let's order one of those" and suddenly the cash clock starts ticking.
Have a great day all.

Blue sky and sunshine this morning but there's a sting in the tail, temperature has dropped by several degrees overnight. We expect blustery showers later as there's a stiff breeze blowing. Time to dig out the woolly hat.
