Dry cooler night,light cloud clearing from the west,looks like it's going to be a nice day, not the heatwave yet,just nice.
Had a good long walk out with Tag along the Sewerby cricket grounds and along the coastal path ,few dog walkers out.

Dull and cool morning, get the feeling that rain is not far away.

Thug pigeons are attacking feeders and muscling the sparrows away from the feeders. Need to get out with my water gun (fairy liquid bottle filled with water   ) to request they leave forthwith 

Following the trend, dull and cooler this morning, getting everything ready in case we are able to get across to France in three weeks time. Just waiting to see what happens Thursday, good news is Canada is allegedly going green so back to the nest soon 
Now have a pigeon called Gary that has become a bit of a pet, he gets mugged by the other pigeons and just about anything that moves. He is joined by Norm and Sid the two gulls and Shirley the sparrow that almost eats out of your hand.
Madness is common in Hog Castle....

Turned out really hot now, no wind, B@Q,s outdoor area was 30 in the sun ( pick up some fencing).
Maybe a BBQ later.

Very wet late morning and early afternoon here but cleared up enough to get a washing dried. More rain on the way for the rest of the week 

Our walk around Saddleworth today was warm until we got on the tops were there was a nice cooling breeze. By lunch time it was warm enough to unzip my trousers legs and carry on in shorts mode. 
The forecasted showers didn’t appear but the M18 was damp coming home. There were black clouds over Scunthorpe and Google so some one got wet this evening.

We had a heavy rain shower in the evening, cleared up overnight to a nice blue sky dawn, still warm no wind,just calm?
Good walk with Tag around the sports fields,grass has been cut so he likes a run on the extension lead.

Stayed dry yesterday and we have a bright blue sky this morning. Definitely cooler and rain forecast for later

Sunny skies over Cornwall this morning so off to the beach in the next few minutes to beat the visitors for a parking space, enjoy a walk and coffee then make a quick escape.

Best make the most of it as damp days are on the way I believe!

When I was doing breakdown work in Scunthorpe at night you got there version of northern lights when the roofs were opened. I think it was part of the rolling process. 
Just after I took muttly for his bedtime walk last night it rained heavily but it’s dried up to a lovely dry bright morning.
I hope our next trip including an airshow weekend after next is dry. We got free tickets this year because it was too wet for safe flying last year.

Bright start but definitely the lull before the storm, we have weather warnings for thunder and heavy rain right through to Sunday. Picked a great time to get away   Waterproofs and wellies packed 

Raining and windy this morning. Had a great walk yesterday managed to get the last parking place, lovely and warm but you could sense the change was coming. Looks like this is set in for several days now  
Cancelled France on the 20th and now considering going a week later but see how it goes. depends on what the weather does here.
Beauty is we have no commitments so only need time to shop and load the van before we decide!

We're in Anster for a few days before heading inland again. Lovely run over from west to east, still sunny here so far but don't expect it to last. Wondering if I can squeeze a BBQ in before the rain hits 

Rain overnight as forecasted, still mild with drizzle,light breeze,shorter walk with Tag, no point in getting soaked.

Back from the supermarket, showers and a little sun this morning but seems the showers will soon have passed to the East. Loads of traffic around even at 0730 including caravans and motorhomes! Off to the big city (Truro) this morning for a quick chore and pick up a Costa then back to grouting the boiler room floor. Proper job

Stayed dry yesterday, which was a surprise given the serious weather warnings we were getting. Heavy (and I mean really heavy) overnight rain, dry now with showers on the forecast for later. Might give the coast path a miss and head into Anster for a mooch 

I was all set to trim the hedge along our drive, I can’t see the gate post when I reverse the Rienza out. 
The forecast is thundery showers until next Tuesday so not good for electric hedge trimmers. So far we have had a shower this morning and now it’s nice and bright. I think I will give it a couple of days to see iff it will stay dry long enough to get it done.

Just back from Truro it is certainly silly season again, roads are packed and people driving like numpties. Hate to think what Padstein and places like that are like

Forecast wrong again, we had glorious sunshine this morning and most of the afternoon. Lunch outside at one of the local places and a pint in the pub garden. Cooked our tea on the BBQ when we got back (to be eaten later) and sat out until it started raining about 15 minutes ago. Good time to start my book 

Lovely morning here and the forecast has changed. It is bright and warm with a gentle breeze with the rain coming back this afternoon. I really must get the van moved over and tackle that hedge. 
Muttly can have his walk first and if posty wants go get up the drive he can pass the post to me over the hedge.

Raining again but clearing this afternoon allegedly!

Managed to sell our old oil tank and its contents on facebook, oil company wanted £300 to empty it and take it away. I sold it for £200, a guy turned up pumped all the oil out and four hefty guys just arrived and lifted the tank over a five foot wall!

Of course I wanted to help but I hade to finish my long breakfast first and by the time I had done it they had finished
