Re: Weather
Breakfast out in the Cow shed at Fraisthorpe earlier this morning cooler fresher morning here, some really heavy rain yesterday evening.
Great walk out with Tag back into town and home, still wet in the longer grass.

Re: Weather
Hedge trimmed and tyre presures checked whilst away from the hedge. As normal the rears were about 2 PSI low but the fronts were spot on.
A nice breeze has picked up now so I think its lunch and chill out for the rest of the day.

Re: Weather
Just walked to Crail and back, not a drop of rain all day but pretty breezy. It's been one of those days where it's very warm when the sun is out and chilly when it's not. No complaints though, dry is good enough for me.

Got to get it when you can Another warm day with lots of sunshine, walked to Pittenweem and back. Had a look at the renovated outdoor swimming pool, it was absolutely jumping. Getting the chairs out to sit an recuperate

Re: Weather
Hammering down with rain last night, much better this morning more sunshine and showers and supposed to be better this afternoon.
Reno's going well, floor tiled and all the cables in conduit looking tidy just needs paining out now. The colour?
I am a tight s.o.b so found left over pots of white emulsion, one of magnolia and one of yellow and chucked them all in a bucket, good stir and now I have a nice pale salmon colour and no more half empty tins! ( notice I didn't put color, I'm getting the hang of this!) Is that how Scottish people get tartan paint?
Quite a few birds around at the moment, as soon as we get back from our hols time to buy a load more sunflower hearts and peanuts as stocks are going down quickly.
Have a great day all!

Dry for our trip over but a few showers now. We dodged a bullet though, pitch behind us at Anster was flooded out with their awning floor under water :Whistle1:Weather looks mixed over the next few days, just got to get on with it
No tartan paint but we did have some tartan sheep GH, always a worry if you saw them after partaking

Re: Weather
Nice day yesterday in Central Scotland except for one torrential downpour at 4pm, brightened up enough to get the BBQ going later. Not so great today, pretty dull start with longer spells of rain later. Hopefully it will clear enough for our usual evening sunset.

Re: Weather
Lovely warm day here. I had an early start due to managements appointment.
Muttly wasn’t too chuffed about being taken for his walk early but once he started sniffing the damp grass he was a bit more interested.
The appointment went well and she has no crutches and the boot has gone. I had to remind her to take her other shoe for coming home. It’s taking a bit of getting mobile again but we managed a wobble round Sainsbury’s to stock up for our trip tomorrow. She used the trolley as a prop and walked up the main isle meeting me at the end of each row.
The taxi that took us to the hospital, the car park is hopeless, said call him at the end and he will fix the price at £10. It’s normally £6.50 each way. A small saving but there cars are clean and comfortable not the ones rent a drunk has been in the night before.

Re: Weather
Second Boaby's comments Dave hope the trip goes well.
Miserable old morning here but much better this afternoon, boiler room is finished and now looks very smart so pleased that is done. Started going through al the boxes in the van ready for the trip to France, well, hopeful trip to France depending on the track of this flipping covid.
If we don't get away this year seriously thinking about giving it up.

Re: Weather
Management says thanks for the thoughts folks. She has promised not to walk. on grass for a while. Muttly is less nervous now he hasn’t got to avoid being stood on or prodded with a crutch.
The breeze stopped after tea making it quite warm. By the time I got back from the garage, filled the water tank and cleaned the windows I was hot and sweaty.

Re: Weather
Thanks Boaby, will be avoiding those things, meat will not be hard as Lady G is a lettuce muncher.
Still overcast down here and roads very busy even at 0730, noticeable how much faster visitors tend to drive than locals and many far too close to your tail end. It is obvious we are going to stop completely at random to let the local farmer out of a turning with his "Tracker".
Grass cutting today then hopefully start cleaning the van. Have a great day all
