Dark overcast skies, not raining hard just mizzling. Still very mild here though, another day for indoor jobs and the end of month finances which is always fun. Have a nice day everyone.

Can you have a nothing day? Very little wind light cloud but 100% cover, mild temp just all a bit unexciting out there. Massive waves though which is great unless you happen to be on them!

Grey, gloomy and quite mild here. Dry but promise of drizzle later. No wind however and no waves even on the massively extended river.

Dry Breezy night, cool easterly on shore wind, good long walk along the promenade, no snow or sleet yet, fingers crossed we might miss it.

Dry and breezy but still very warm for this time of year. Hopefully will stay that way long enough to get a decent walk in, rain will be here for sure later. Dead swans have been found nearby us, Avian Flu it seems, no wonder there is no wildlife on the river. Very sad

Rained a lot overnight, a bit less now which is good as I've just taken car to garage and walked home, only about 3/4 mile.

Four inch layer of snow here on top of frozen rain..
The poor folk next door who both go to work were half an hour with scrapers and kettles before they could even get into their cars...

The weather map on the forecast showed wildly varying temps around uk, 12 down south to 2 up north.

Pouring down here since 7, chilly winds, sorry about the Swans Gh, we often see Hopper swans flying over head .

Made the walk in the dry and skies have lightened a little 13 degrees at the. moment. Thanks about the swans just hope the flu doesn't spread

Lovely here. Bright sunshine, blue skies, 13 deg C, no wind.

Our usual walk is totally impassible thanks to flooding from the river. The van is only a few metres from the flood water but there is a small bank up to where we park it. I assume, if we do have to move it that that will be a reasonable excuse to drive it ??!

Dry bright morning, a few blue patches in the sky. Need to get more fuel for the mowers and blower, a few bits from Lidl and pasties for lunch, about a fifteen mile round trip to town so do I risk taking the van for a run or just go in the car..... decisions, decisions   

Birds are starting to take interest in the new houses which is great, hoping to take them off flightmove very soon

A few stars out last night, not quite like a clear night in Yellowknife but good enough! Fair amount of blue sky this morning and a gentle breeze, quite a few birds flying around so just ordered another load of sunflower hearts and suet balls to keep them happy!
