Re: Weather
A lovely bright and sharpe cold day here. Management is starting to get dinner sorted before daughter gets up and causes havoc trying to organise me. She has been on nights for three days so it should be a quiet day for a while.
Muttly has had to be rescued from amongst the pressies this morning. He fell sideways under the tree again.
Happy Christmas folks.

Visit to St Andrews beach in the van for beach walk and Christmas lunch. Weather is still, with little wind. Crisp morning and good visibility back up the coast to Angus coast and hills.
Wishing everyone a peaceful and healthy christmas

Beautiful sunny, but cold day down here in the west and a welcome respite from the wet weather of the last few days!
Enjoy your steaks and have a glass of cheer along side to keep you warm.
Happy Christmas all!

Re: Weather
Hi Liam
That's it for another year, yes it was chilly, but dry, any excuse to get away from the TV.
Enjoyed myself under the garage door, didn't want the heat going up onto the canopy roof.had a couple of cans of San Miquel whilst cooking up steaks.
Still dry but very cold.

As Shakespeare said (must have been a BBQ man himself) "2 beers or not 2 beers, that is the question" I try and keep to a couple myself but that's just when getting the charcoal burning
Cold but dry Christmas day here but it's cold and very, very wet today. Waiting for a break to get the bins emptied (as instructed )

Re: Weather
Lovely winter morning in Angus as the sun rose. Had to defrost the car to go to Asda for a few things. Light cloud with blue sky now, no wind.
Asda very light on fresh meat. No carrots (UK grown) but plenty French and South African apples!!

We've got some sun as well, mixed with snow showers. Still eating leftovers here so no shopping needed yet.

Re: Weather
Chilly haw frost earlier, firmed up the ground enough to get a walk along the Sewerby cliff tops, certainly braising this morning.
Watched the wee coastal crab boats going out, they must be a tough breed.

Re: Weather
Dry and frosty with the promise of wintery showers later. Meant to say earlier that we see or hear our fox(es) more or less every night , usually wandering along the street around our bedtime.

Re: Weather
A bright frosty morning here. The decking outside the dining room door was a bit slippery when muttly went out. I thought he had fallen over because of his wonky legs but I nearly followed him. There’s not a lot of traction control in my slippers.
I might have a bit of me time in the workshop today once the heater has warmed it up a bit. I leave it on frost setting just to keep some of the chill off until I decide to go out there. For an un insulated wooden workshop it’s not too bad.

Re: Weather
Sunshine here at moment, no snow so far but severe weather forecast this afternoon up to 10cm snow (high ground above 200metres so probably not us).

The severe warning didn't bring anything. My son in Birmingham took his kids out sledging this morning. Strange how weather can be so localised.

Re: Weather
Rain overnight ,stopped around 5, brief walk with Tag, returned home and went out for a wee donder and got caught in a heavy hail stone shower, turned to sleet, then froze on the ground, hellish to walk on.

We've got a layer of snow lying, about a couple of inches, and forecast is -3°c until Friday or Saturday. Need to go out for the pasta, rice and toilet rolls

Glorious sunshine and blue sky in Angus. Light dusting of snow on top of yesterday's frost so very slippy. No wind so very peaceful with little traffic noise. As I no longer need to go out to work for the first winter since 1974 I am enjoying this morning very much
