A lovely bright start in our corner of Lincolnshire. Typically I want to get out to some were we can have a walk and lunch out but I have places to be today and tomorrow.
Today I am going to see my haircut lady for my pre Christmas trim. Tomorrow I have a visit to the dentist booked. Nothing too big a deal but by the time I have got myself organised I can’t be bothered to do much else.
I will check the forecast and find a day to get out. There’s a lot of places to go in our tier area.

Back to the miserable weather with another grey, very wet and windy start to the day down here in the west.
All of our Holly trees are now almost stripped bare by the birds and there are only the extremities on some branches that still have a few berries remaining.
So we may have a sprig or two left for the Christmas decorations!

A lovely bright start to the day and quite mild for this time of year. Hopefully this will give me chance to get the decking cleaned off.
I know it should have been done earlier in the year but I admit to not having the inclination to do it then. There has been a container of cleaner in the shed for a while but it didn’t surface until I had a good dig out and tidied up the workshop.
Muttly will be confused having to out of the kitchen door on to the drive rather than on to the decking from the dinning room door. Not that it takes a lot to confuse him these days.walkies

A beautiful bright sunny start to the day here in the west after a very grey miserable day yesterday and a lot of rain and wind overnight.
A bit more leave clearing required today as the wind seems to have found all the leaves that I either missed or were hiding in the hedges last time around. Its still nice to get some fresh air and a bit of sun -- shortest day coming up!

Dispite local weather forecasters predicting rain at midday,it's turned out nice and sunny, not that many leaves now, only wee leaves coming in under the gates.

Cold with heavy showers, wood pigeons are grazing the garden looking for the dropped seeds but they are getting nothing.

We have the same weather then! You talking about Tag v fox reminded me, I watched a fox and a cat playing "chases" once in my garden. They were taking turns and obviously having fun. I was surprised because my expectation was they would fight shrugg

Not sure if its anything to do with the weather but if its a cold crisp night the local foxes are out on the street. The big dog fox is normally first then the noisy cubs follow. This morning its cold and bright and I think they have been visiting again because muttly spent ages sniffing round by the workshop and the shed.
I have been out to empty the water tank and plug the van back in, we were out in it Sunday. Being a clear crisp day I think it might give us some frost so I dont want the van getting cold. cold
My hands are stiffening up so that will be it for today. No workshop time but a lazy day wont harm unless management has any other ideas.  girl-thinking

It started dark and wet this morning until about ten so I went across to Lidl, I forgot the milk yesterday. As I came in the front door it chucked it down again. Now it’s bright and dry but cold.
We don’t get the worst of the weather here unless it’s from the North or East. As my old boss used to say, the worst weather comes from the steps of the Kremlin.

Some sunny weather windows earlier, heavy hail stone shower an hour ago.
I remember the Berlin winters 50 years ago, that was industrial cold.

I didn’t mind the winters in Germany they were polar cold but a lot drier. The first winter management was with me it rained  and then froze hard. The trees turned white. Very festive but it was interesting at work. It gets a bit hairy when 52 tons of tank starts sliding sideways on concrete. It’s difficult running when you can’t stand up.

The Tankies in Smutz barracks had tanks, didn't ever see them out on the cobble streets in Spandau, remember negotiating the streets in a AV 432 though.
Our Sioux engines didn't like the cold either.
