About 2cm of snow this morning but rapidly thawing already.

The snow is bad enough but the halfway slush is a pain.

Very cold clear morning with blue skies, had a great view of the moon when I went for the morning paper. Got progressively darker as grey clouds rolled in and it's now raining on and off. Time to get the heating on!

Pouring all night, brief rest bite around 4, still got wet, had a wee hail shower yesterday afternoon and that's it as far as snow so far.

Started grey and misty first thing this morning but brightened up as we went out at half ten. As we drove over the wolds towards Lincoln it was grey and misty again. By the time we were heading south on the A15 the sun had broken through. I couldn’t see the speedo or the sat nav to check my speed. By the time we got to Whisby nature reserve my eyes were quite sore.
It was grey and misty round most of the lakes but cleared again in the late afternoon. On the way home some the fields still had mist sat in them even thought it was bright sunshine.

Still frosty here too. I nipped out in the car (once I got it cleared of frost and ice) to Tesco yesterday morning for the Sunday papers. On the way back I pass, on the road, by our local cop shop and I felt the car sliding on black ice. I bet a few folk got caught out by it.

Our wee estate roads rarely get salted/ gritted Tony, so vehicles negotiating the incline and bend usually end up spinning of into the kerb ,or giving up .

Really thick low sea cloud, you can taste the salt in the air, I'm supplying the builders with hot mugs of tea and a roll and haggis.

Rain cleared through very early before dawn and now we have beautiful sunny day - still only 6C but good walking weather.
The Redwings and Blackbirds have finally arrive in force and are quickly stripping the Hollies of their berries.

Last night forecast promised the sun burning off any low cloud/mist by about mid day.

In reality its has been a whole day with visibility limited to about 50m and cold.

Heavy rain overnight damp and Dreich this morning, no frost, just fog,no wind to clear it.
Looks like you have the migrating Redwings and Fieldfares Liam. Nice photo, our berriy bushes are stripped,only the odd cotoneaster with wee berries left.

Light sleety rain falling, just enough to be irritating. Our shops have reopened so all I need is inspiration to do my Christmas shopping. Wonder if Poundland will be busy shrugg

Fine low mist coming in ,everything is soaking, fortunately we have our 32 foot tunnel , so Tag can have a pee on the artificial grass. up!

We have a choice of shops for Christmas shopping Tony, Cash converters, charity aid shops and Yorkshire trading.

It was a lovely sun rise when I got up but by the time I had chucked muttly out and sorted managements breakfast it was getting dark and overcast again.
By lunch time it was raining so I abandoned any idea of a run out in the van and retreated to the workshop. If it wasn’t for the surge of Christmas lights it dosnt feel very festive.

Pouring down and cold. For some reason our roads and pavements have still not been cleared of autumn leaves so we're getting lots of standing surface water. Accident waiting to happen.
