Re: Weather
The camp site warden just told us it was 23 here. It didn’t feel like it with the breeze but muttly has only got up to eat his tea and gone back to sleep. Not that’s any different to normal. His specialist subject is sleeping.

A grey start today, Ludham open gardens today, always impressive. Especially after yesterday's glorious weather.

Yes Ian, be careful or the Piskies will get you
Forecast for today is easy, cloudy, dry and a high of 17°c. More rain on the way for tomorrow, shocked I ain't

Re: Weather
A cooler start to the day here. After a hectic weekend on this site people are starting to pack up. At least the canvas things will be dry.
After a lazy breakfast and putting the slow cooker on for tea , beef stroganoff, we are going for a walk in the forest maybe take a butty lunch.
Sadly it’s our turn to head home tomorrow and start work on jobs I put off until drier weather.

28 degrees again south of the Loire after a bit of rain last night. Lovely spot by the river a good 10 minutes drive from where we were last night. Must watch this excessive mileage.
A Burton and a symbol on the site last night but neither seemed to want to communicate so we left them to it.
Have a great day all8

Cloudy again with rain on and off all day and a high of 16°c. Only thing that could make it worse would be if the TV was full of tennis

Re: Weather
Dry and bright start here for our homeward trip. After breakfast me and muttly will have a short walk in the forest whilst management is getting herself assembled.
Hopefully this bit of the trip should be trouble free with the roads but one day of road closure and one day of chaotic road works in two weeks isn’t bad for a fortnight in the uk really.
A milestone in this trip is the end of the payments for the van. It should have been sooner but family circumstances meant extending the loan period. We have had the van eight years now and have no intention of parting with it yet. Hopefully it will keep us out and about further into our retirement for a few more years.

Assembled!!!! Gonna use that one again Dave!
Well, as you're heading roughly this way I have good news, so far, lovely morning here and no signs of degradation. It may cloud over as you approach the Far East but that's it.
BTW hopelessly optimistic re the roads imho...
Safe journey

Re: Weather
As you predicted Ian it started raining just north of Lincoln and it was chucking it down by the time we got home.
Probably my forces way of getting up shaved, showered and dressed whilst the kettle is boiling.
I use the passenger seat turned round to stash my clothes on whilst getting ready because it’s near the washroom. Management seems to need more space than me so it’s safer me and muttly go for a walk. As Ian found when he called on us at Walcott me and muttly were on the return leg of our walk but management was not ready for visitors. She was having a slow start. I often open the door too early, normally when we are on a busy site or a pub car park.

You may be indirectly responsible for the rain we've had from late afternoon onwards here....

Can you get rid of the rain soon please Ian, heading down your way at the weekend for several days. We had rain forecast all day, last rain fell about 10am, lovely sunshine all afternoon.

Morning folks,
Dry at the moment but only 10 degrees. Forecast is for a day of sunshine and showers with a high around the 16 degree mark.

The camc Ludham site is one of my favourites. Have strolled to the bridge many a time. There’s less traffic noise at the pitches furthest from the gate.Bilbobaggins wrote:

Morning all. Looks like rain this morning with less rain this afternoon and a high of 16°c. The disappointing summer goes on

Summer seems to have gone further away, temp 12 this morning, high of 15 later. Heating came on automatically this morning. Dull and miserable looking out there.
