I have a 2006 Symbol. With the passenger seat pushed fully forward and the single seat extended the small infill cushion is too big to go between the extended seat and the front passenger seat. it is about 3 inches too big. has anybody had the same problem?

Haven’t got an answer for you, but our 2016 Symbol has a diagram in the handbook. You can get a handbook on line I think.

Thanks for your response, I have the Symbol handbook I appear to be doing everything correctly but for some reason the in fill cushion is too big. Anyway I appreciate your reply.

I’m not familiar with the 2006 version of the Symbol so I’m probably talking complete rubbish but does the passenger seat need to be rotated for the infill cushion to fit?

Hi

When I had my 2004 Symbol I pushed the seats far forward as they would go without turning the seat round. Then drop the seat/bed fillers in resting on the seat adjustment rails.

Hi,you should have 3 infill cushions and they are all different sizes. When i had my symbol each cushion would only fit one position. The middle cushion was bigger than the other two.Do you have all 3,if not that may be your problem.Like Stewart John,i pushed the seats fully forward and tilted the seatbacks as far forward as they would go. Tony.

I have 3 cushions 1 large infill cushion and two smaller infill cushions both of which are the same size all original. I push the front seat hard up against the dash facing forward, tilting the front seat makes no difference. I have now made an infill cushion slightly smaller so that I can use the nearside single bed. Many thanks for all your suggestions.

I push forward facing seat as far forward as I can with seat tilted, then I position infill cushion in place before I slide single seat down and press in place , I am a newbie so not sure if this is right.  Again I push drivers seat as far forward as possible then tilt back positioning infill.
