Good news, GH, our hosepipe ban which has been in force for 364 days will end on 25 Sept. You’ll be able to hose down your MH.groundhog wrote:Glad to see you are getting some sunshine Boaby and Tag is getting a good walk. Sunny and warm start here too but the forecast suggests it clouding over later. Need to decide whether to go up or down the coast path for our walk Anybody got a coin

29 degrees and sunny in Lourdes took the holy water but the feet seem just as bad. Topped up the van rad with some and it runs like a V8 now.

Don't say things like that out loud, some people might get ideas. It was just that I left my lucky two headed coin at home We decided to go up to Crail, bit breezy but still warm.

Re: Weather
After a lovely sunny break it was time to drive home today. As we got towards Boston it started looking grey and overcast over the wolds. By the time we got home its still warm but more comfortable for muttly. He has been mooching round the garden between bouts of snoring. Traveling makes him tired.

Re: Weather
Morning all
30 degrees at 0730 rising to late 30's later, heading for Luz Saint Sauveur and the cirque de something as recommended on this forum.
Scattered storms coming in tonight then a few days of sun and rain but temperature mid 20's.
No idea after that will make it up as we go along.

Re: Weather
We had some light rain overnight but it's sunny now but with a cooler breeze blowing. Should stay mainly dry but always the possibility of a shower, good walking weather. I'm getting a bit fed up with "hospitality" venues that refuse to use the £ sign on their menus, do they consider it trendy or is it they think customers will see 14 as less of an expense than £14 Anytime I see it I just move on.
Enjoy your day folks.

Remember the suncream GH
Lovely day here yesterday, there was a forecast of overnight rain but there's no signs of it this morning. Sunny with some broken cloud right now but we're expecting some heavy showers later. On the move further up the coast today, into the rain
Take care folks.

Well, after a lovely sunny, warm and relaxing break in Stoney, home to rain and no wifi..... Still raining and a cool 12 degrees but at least Mr. Virgin arrived this morning and fixed the broadband and wifi
Went up boatie row on the way to the Villa, Boaby, even though you mentioned it it still came as a bit of a surprise how good they were. Got a few tinnies of Belhaven in the fridge and left a couple in the van for the next trip.

Nice to see got back safety Dave, very nearly purchased one of the cottages on the front facing the sea (8 year ago), asking price was fine, but to many bidders took the price well above its value, anyway that's history.
Off the Bellhaven best Dave, puts to much weight on me, love ice cold San Miguel.
Have a great week end, the Wife is loading up the wee Fire fly with some kit for our next trip to Whitby.

Re: Weather
Arreau in Pyrenees last night it was 37 when we turned in and 19 when we opened up
Overcast and 24 degrees now, tbh much more comfortable.
Probably head West next maybe via top of Spain.
Have a great day all.
