Yesterday - soaked to the skin running the dogs a.m. in Betws y Coed but a nice afternoon here on Anglesey and the opposite today ie a lovely morning run with the boys but soaked to the skin on their pm walk. Conservatory full of drying clothes / shoes and smelly, damp dogs in the lounge! Not a hint of warmth about.
Washed the van this morning but not booking anything until we see some sort of improvement….

Morning Folks,

Not a nice morning at all.  14 degrees and raining.  Forecast is for it to stay that way all day as well.  Fingers crossed it brightens up for the weekend.

Not a drop of rain yesterday, it was shorts and tee shirt weather in the afternoon. It's been raining overnight and more is on the way, we've got a brief respite now so I need to get my skates on to do the ablutions before it starts again.

Take care folks

Humid and wet overnight,  16° through the night, 18 now but doesn't feel it.
Just read that heatwave supposed to be back in UK from 3rd August with temps up to 29 but forecast here is no more than 17 for next 10 days, where do they get these forecasts?

It's been a bit showery but no where near as bad as the forecasters predicted. Back at the ok corral in one piece, no thanks to the 2 kamikaze sheep on the Braemar/Glenshee Road that ran in front of the van. I managed to swerve to avoid them so no damage sustained or lamb kebabs for tea. And a special word for the white van man who undertook me as I was overtaking a slow moving lorry carrying hay bales. He forced his way out in front of me and I had to hit the brakes.

I'll let you guess what the word is Whistle1

Dry mild night, still muddy on the grass, good walk with Tag, back in for porridge and a spray.
Great you managed to avoid any dings with the sheep Tony, great braking system the ABS
( if fitted). Saved me a few times.
Have a nice day, at home today Dave .

Morning Boaby.

Heading up to North Ledaig today so hopefully the weather holds out.  14 degrees and bight just now.

Good to hear you're still in one piece Tony.  Was white van man, by any chance, employed in a hostelry as a Bar Steward?

Not sure Boaby, TBH I've no idea how I managed to miss the first one but the second one changed it's mind and stopped. Totally unpredictable sheep. The very same Dave. I'm sorry I don't have a dashcam, sure the white man van's driving would have interested the constabulary.

We have the promise of a dry day, if you ignore the showers snigger Have a good trip Dave

Turned out to be a pretty nice day in Chester yesterday. Went to see Making tracks 3 in cathedral and managed to chat to Pete Waterman. Followed by gentle afternoon by river.

Sitting outside wool shop near Warrington while management stocks up on projects for coming winter. When finished here 5 hour drive home.

Been away three weeks and had two soakings, rest of time in tee shirt and shorts so overall a good trip.

Enjoy your day

Glad it went well BB. I was pleasantly surprised to find a cracking model shop in Granton on Spey but it did make me sorry I sold my Hornby train set when I saw the prices of engines and accessories twiddle_thumbs It's been pretty warm here as well as dry, great for getting the holiday washing dried.

A warm and breezy morning but a little cloudy. We are having a day out at Brodsworth Hall for bands on a Sunday tomorrow so I thought we would take the van in case it rains. Just doing a quick check round and noticed something under the heater. It was one of muttlies denta chews. That would have smelled bad when we put the heater on next winter. blushes

Bright sunny start to the day but there's rain on the way. Heading over to do some work on the van, it's inside so I should be ok. Happy travels if away.
