Morning Boaby,

15 degrees and raining and doesn't look like it's going to stop.  Very slight whiff in the van so think the cassette and waste tanks will be getting a good cleaning today (at least I'll be out of the rain....)

Much better yesterday, we had a few light showers late on but we had a good walk earlier on and a BBQ at teatime. Today it's sunny and forecast to stay that way all day, OK it is on the cool side but we'll take dry any day. Out for another walk to justify the coffee and scone later.

Take care folks

The older Spaniel was not at all impressed despite insisting we went for a run at 05:30am but at least they’ll be quiet for a few hours now. A horrid day on Anglesey today, so glad I spent the last few days in the garden…

A grey damp day on our bit of the east coast. Not good for aching joints so I think a day indoors is in order. The van needs cleaning after our last trip but it can wait, it was only three nights so it won’t need much.
Muttly has the right idea by going back to bed as old dogs should after a damp walk.
Management is trying to sort out dates and times her sister arrives from Australia for daughters wedding in September. The stupid old witch keeps saying it will be so cold I am not looking forward to the journey. As far as I remember airplanes have heating and some times you get blankets. The simple solution would be don’t come and that’s both our opinion. broomstick

Wet night with heavy rain showers turning to drizzle, brief break in the rain around 4.30, long enough to get Tag out a wee donder.
Have a nice day, take care if your traveling.

Morning Boaby,

12 degrees and dull and damp here this morning. Had a few showers yesterday but nothing too heavy.  Not supposed to rain today but I reckon we will probably have drizzle on and off.

Got so hot (OK, very mild) yesterday that we had to get the shorts on and sit out. Started a bit showery this morning but it's an improving forecast here. Great, except we're moving south east and it looks into more rain. Luck of the draw shrugg

Is this definitely July scratch head

Take it easy folks

A lot brighter but still a bit damp this morning. A better night so I am motivated to get the van cleaned and maybe a bit of workshop time this afternoon. When I move the van over to empty the cassette I will take the empty gas bottle out ready for a trip to the garage for a new bottle.
I think we have done well for a 6kg bottle because we have been mostly off grid on our two trips in May one trip in June and until the last day at Rutland this month.

Luckily the rain didn't appear and it's reached 19 degrees and is bright and sunny with a light breeze which will help dry the hammerite touch up on the rear camera shroud which was getting a bit rusty looking (also done the tow bar while I was at it..)

If the forecast is right, looks as if it will be dry(ish) for the majority of next week

Interesting trip over to Braemar via the Cockbridge to Tomintoul road, had heavy rain and sunshine but no need for the snow gates thankfully. Just a brief heavy shower here which unfortunately coincided with our walk to the village  Whistle1  Site is chocca, mostly vans and mostly German or Dutch.

Sunny and dry here but still cool. Forecast is for it to stay that way so we're getting out fir a walk whilst the going is good. Next few days look a bit mixed (that's shorthand for light rain and heavy rain snigger )

Loads of signs up around here saying "red squirrels", we've worked out that it actually means there are no red squirrels happyno

Take it easy

A lovely bright start to the day so far. After muttly has had his walk I have a trip to screwfix booked to pick up some cutting discs for the workshop. I suppose the van should be cleaned today and the clean bedding put back in before management starts at me for hiding in the workshop. gettinwrong

Warmer this morning at 12 degrees. Dry but overcast, forecast for rain later in the day - hopefully it will stay dry until after I finish this working malarkey and get back home.

Stay safe if your on your travels.

Stayed dry yesterday but overcast for much of the day. Still overcast but we expect showers on and off for the most part. Loads of signs up here telling what wildlife there is, well the wildlife obviously can't read and have gone elsewhere. Apart from the usual suspects, the best we could do were several treecreepers shrugg

Forecasters got it wrong again yesterday, they said rain all day with a short dry spell over lunchtime. It was, in fact, dry all day with a brief shower over lunchtime shrugg  it turned out a great walking day although we did get some heavier showers into the evening when back in the van. Today is forecast to stay dry all day and get up to 18°c but who knows.

Take care folks

I nice bright and warm morning so far. After muttlies walk I am off to see the foot lady whilst management helps our son choose a suite for daughters wedding.
Daughter dosnt trust him to buy something appropriate so tasked management to guide him because mum knows best. My suite was chosen for me so that was easy. As you can tell daughter is organised and dosnt take no for answer.

Overnight stop on way back north at Cirencester CMC, yesterday was glorious at Stonehenge. Bright sunshine warm and gentle breeze. Sitting out having cuppa having done morning chores.

Had to putheating on at 6am, forgot I had source set to mix 2, so heater kicked in to full Concorde take off mode which woke management, who wasn't amused.

Rain forecast before we are due to arrive at Delamere Forest later today.

Have a good day

I put my jumper on to walk muttly but by the time I got back my T shirt was sticky so I had to get changed before my appointment.
My normal foot lady must have been busy so the trainee foot man did my toe nails. I think he would be better attending to horses. He was a bit rough not helping that the cooling spray. had run out so it felt like foot was on fire by the second nail. Then he had to get some one to help him re fill the cooling spray.
I am seeing my normal lady Rosie next time. She’s a bit batty but knows what she is doing.
