Re: Weather
It’s raining here and the sky is very dark, it’s a good thing I don’t shrink in all this wet stuff, still on Anglesey for another week I do hope we get some sunshine

Re: Weather
Nice to be an optimist Dave, dry now but forecast suggests showers are likely this afternoon. With a bit of luck they may be hit or miss in nature. Haircut day for me

Re: Weather
Nice sunny warm morning in Broadway, scattered showers this afternoon so trip on the railway to Cheltenham seems in order.
Forecast same as yesterday, we ended up with two rain showers that were heavy but lasted only 10 minutes or so...one as we left the van to walk into the village for some food shopping, and one as we crossed the road back to the site. Otherwise very pleasant.
Have a good day and enjoy your travels if away

Re: Weather
A bit cloudy but a nice day until we decided to tackle a small job in the garden this afternoon.
Whist we were out there I thought it would be a good idea to water the pots and hanging baskets. Just as I got to the last pot it started to rain.

Re: Weather
Glorious day again here in St David's. We're at Caerfai Bay site, where we've been coming since our tenting days 44 years ago! They've much improved facilities since our last visit in 2021. Walked the Pembrokeshire coastal path - well a few miles of it - spectacular. "Who wants to go abroad?" - as my late mother-in law used to say.
But horrible weather forecast for Friday: gale and torrential rain all day. So although we've paid up front, we'll tail it back to Cardiff on Friday morning. That's why I want to go abroad!
A lovely few days.

Re: Weather
Just back from six weeks in France. Lots of rain and strong winds and not as warm as usual for the time of year. Still much better than the weather we've come back too.

More or less the same as yesterday - 12 degrees and sunny. Looks as if it should stay dry for most of the day though.

Yes, 14° now rising to a heady 17° later but less chance of rain. Shopping day so at least I might get it done without getting soaked.
Happy travels to those away.

16 here rising to 19. Sun and showers, less chance of rain than last few days, in fact supposedly best day of week, next 6 days looking pretty wet again.

Re: Weather
Happy Bastille Day Yes, eggs aplenty yesterday but we didn't need any
Dull and overcast at15°c now. It won't get much warmer but it will get much wetter with low pressure hitting around lunchtime. The rain is set to keep going right through into tomorrow, which is St Swithin's day, and we all know what that means.
Take care all and happy travelling if on the road

I was in Paris on Bastille day in 2003 - mega heatwave with old people dropping all over France.

Re: Weather
Same here (weather wise) 15 and overcast with heavy rain forecast this evening. Busy day today, couple of chaps coming to give us quotes for roughcasting then shopping. Deep joy.
Hope the weather is better if you are out and about on your travels.

Re: Weather
Been walking OFFA’s Dyke trail the last 9 days (N to S) using Kenny Kingham as the support vehicle with my husband kindly driving while I walked with our younger dog. Rain has increased gradually over the days until we had to abandon today in Monmouth and head home. It was the right decision, Chepstow racecourse has had over 18mm of rain today and that’s not funny when you are walking for 8 hours….
Love the Wye valley so will be happy to return and finish in a few weeks when the sun is shining!

Re: Weather
It started grey with light drizzle this morning meaning a damp morning walk. By mid afternoon it was quite chilly and chucking it down.
We are off to Manchester airport again tomorrow and I hope it’s not too wet crossing the moors from Sheffield the Fiesta feels a bit flimsy after our Transit.

It's been like a dreary November day here, drizzly and only 14°.

Ditto here, but 16, rain from 11am till 9pm.
Garden liked it even though it got a huge drink from a thunderstorm couple days ago...

Re: Weather
Rain started mid afternoon yesterday and that was it for the rest of the day. It was cool and dark as well. This morning has begun with a watery sky but it's dry just now and 16°c. It won't get much warmer but the rain will return around lunchtime. Still, I would rather be here than stuck in the heatwave.
Take care all and happy travels if away.

Re: Weather
Last night was much more peaceful than night before, no rain and wind dropped quite a bit. Rained all day yesterday but nice bright morning now. Sitting having morning cuppa in motorhome parking bay in Bourton on the water before exploring village. Wind starting to pick up, we have weather warning for high winds until tea time
Moving on to Devon tomorrow.
Take care out there today

Re: Weather
Been a strange day. Thunder and lightning didn't appear but we had about 30 seconds of really heavy rain then the sun came out again. Tarzan is now homeless as the jungle has been tidied.
Enjoy Devon BB, hopefully the weather will pick up for you in the next few days.
