How you and your lady wife feeling Boaby, you getting over your recent Covid?

13 degerees and cloudy this morning.  Think it's a run to the garden centre is on the books today

It's supposed to be a repeat of yesterday but so far it's a lot cooler and very dull, no sign of sun at all.


It has brightened up now by midday , not clear blue sky but a haziness about it with temp up to 18 now.

Thanks for asking Dave, the wife has pulled through 2 weeks of this resent wave of COVID , still no taste or sense of smell, weather here has turned out nice and sunny, still a wee chill in the air.

Good to hear Boaby.  It's turned drizzly now - lovely weather for planting new plants, means they will get watered naturally....

A lovely bright day with a slight chill in the breeze. After a bit of shopping this morning it was nice to have lunch in the Rienza whilst I packed. 
If this weather holds it should be a good trip next week but from past trips the Isle of Skye has its own weather.

11 degrees this morning and overcast.  Forecast is for it to brighten up later.  Have a good day if your out and about.

Morning Dave,up and oot with the dawn chorus earlier, sunrise covered by cloud, mild at 10 degrees, still abit wheezy but feeling much better. Both negative tests last night.
Back in to get a double wash out while we have a stiff breeze.

Morning all 14 degrees dry and sunny again and rising quickly in temperature, expecting 21 this afternoon. Need to pop out and get more paint supplies now then its work until lunchtime, siesta and work again in the evening. Only concern is the reservoirs are already low and if this weather keeps up ( not complaining) we will be in big trouble later in the year when the holidaymakers arrive. Local environment agency is already warning about potential drought orders.

PS: Turned on the BBC this morning to see the news, unimportant things like Ukraine, China, G7 etc and we get fifteen minutes about a minister trying to do a personal speed awareness course, experts called in and opposition members contributing. What a joke. I feel better now

10 degrees and overcast this morning but it feels a bit cooler.  Supposed to brighten up a bit later on.

Could get very used to this, sunny and warm again expecting late teens today and tomorrow and 21 degrees by the weekend. Getting on well with all the chores around the place then if the weather holds it has to be a trip away in the van for a few days.

8 degrees and sunny this morning and the forecast is for it to stay that way all day with the temp rising to around 18.

Remember this coming week is half-term, the only one where the whole of England and Wales has the same half-term. So not only never go anywhere on a bank holiday,  don't go anywhere when the kids are off school.

Agree with that, certainly wont be out and about apart from the essentials until after half term. Very busy down here, picked up more paint from Falmouth yesterday and drove round the headland, no parking spaces anywhere along the whole of the seafront.  

Another sunny day so onwards and upwards, plan to join the next aid convoy to Ukraine is not happening, thanks DVLA only 10 weeks and counting so far to renew my licence.

Some kids must be of school early as the beaches are full despite the the sewage problem.

Simplicity being my middle name, just write off all July and August anywhere in Europe or UK!!

Better day here, was cold and gloomy am now brighter as forecast. Looks like a good weekend coming up, perfect for BBQ's etc in own garden!!
