Re: Weather
Thick sea fret/ har rolled in of the sea overnight, dreich conditions this morning, not pleasant to walk Tag in. Returned after a wee donder.
2nd dead hedge hog I've picked up of the road this week, she was full of wee hog lets too, male blackbirds also getting terminated as they fly low over the roads, if drivers would just slow down.
Have a nice day.

Morning Boaby, You're out and about early this morning - feeling a bit better?
8 degrees and hazy this morning but it's going to be another warm one today.

Good day Dave, out most mornings With Tag haven't been going to far due to the lack of emergency and mojo.
Still cool and overcast along the coast .

Re: Weather
A chilly and damp morning for our walk. Our front hedge needs serious trimming but not a good idea on a damp day. I am well up with domestic bonus points having repaired the decking yesterday so I got stuck in to sorting the flush on the Rienza as posted elsewhere.

Feels cooler this morning but the thermometer is saying it's 9 degrees. Sunny at the moment but supposed to cloud over slightly later in the day

Re: Weather
Cloudy here but 13 degrees at 8am, much warmer than the 8 degrees at same time yesterday. Cloudy all day yesterday and 13 was our max, depending on what cloud does today we could stay at 13, or rise to 22 degrees

Re: Weather
Anybody tell me what this grey stuff is up in the sky
Supposedly 13°c and rising, dry with no rain on the forecast for a few days. Washing and shopping on the cards for us today.

Re: Weather
Another grey and chilly day here with occasional drizzle. At least that means the hedge will have to wait thankfully. After last weeks trip I am stiff so any reason to not trim the hedge is welcome.

Re: Weather
Has everyone slept in this morning? Cool, sunny start with a clear sky, should get up to 22 or 23°c later. No plans so some general maintenance is on the cards (as long as the general doesn't object )
Where are you heading next Paul?

Re: Weather
Bright sunshine 11° with a few clouds about, rising to 19.
Starting Tuesday, first a couple of nights at Kirkby Lonsdale THS, then onto Corbridge/Hexham area (possibly Hexham racecourse, not booked) then up to Beadnell Bay C&CC site (booked), then either Seaburn THS or Stanhope THS then to ASOC rally near York. 17 nights in total if all goes to plan.

Re: Weather
A bright but breezy start for our walk and it’s got warmer as the morning progressed.
As much as I tried to put it off the hedge had to be given a good seeing to this morning. It was certainly warm by the finish but I am knackered
As a reward I decided to get some butties from the cake shop. It wasn’t the normal staff and the guy in front of me wasn’t disputing his bill. I got a fish salad and a ham salad and asked for two custards. When I got home I have the right butties but one custard, a chocolate danish and a sausage roll. No matter the sausage roll was still warm and very tasty. They must having a bad day in the cake shop.

Re: Weather
Early shop then back to take trailer load of hedge cuttings to tip, it's an eight foot trailer and we filled it three times in the last few days.
Slightly more cloudy today after all the unbroken sunshine so next job cut the grass then a bit more van polishing before dark. How was there ever time to work.
Planning to get a few days trip in later this month but still waiting for DVLA to issue my driving licence. Three months so far since application but no worries I am on priority issue!
Have a great day all

Day 2 of meteorological summer, still bloody cold and interminable NE wind.

No Tony, just stayed out with Tag and had rolls and bacon in a cafe on the harbour, still and n/ e breeze, cleared the coastal cloud and turned into a nice day.
Got the Vax rug cleaner out to give the rugs a freshen out., get a wash out later, then have a BBQ.
Have a nice weekend.

Re: Weather
Good stuff Boaby That sounds like a decent trip Paul, hope the weather holds for you. We're heading for Yorkshire and the Lakes in a couple of weeks ourselves.
Just watching our local news, we are getting advance warnings of water shortages and being told to conserve supplies now by using watering cans and taking shorter showers (although I don't think they meant the former for the latter )
