Re: Replacing Hankook XV27 MF105AHr Battery
On the ec500 you turn off the mains charger for batteries
at first I just plugged into the blue socket from the inverter to power the camper but now wired inside the camper
In the summer I have enough power from the solar I can run the fridge off the 240 volt in the day time and the gas at night
My solar controller is a epever daul so charges the vehicle and leisure it’s 20amp and with the 3x80w panels have had over 18amps but could not put any more load to see the full amps I could get

This also explains about the reverse polarity check

Nice modification ,where is the 2 battery set up accessed in the control panel?glyne lock wrote:[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]With a solar system that works and not just for sales person talks
I can run my inverter to power 240 volt items and will recharge the 2 batteries back to full charge
The Sargent control is set as to the 2 battery amps if I should use it to charge from the mains

glynelock……..thanks for photo of panel. The reason I have not found this function is that I believe we have different panels despite vans of same year. I have the 700 and looks like yours is 500
