Re: Weather
Rain showers through most of yesterday and overnight. It's quite bright this morning with the cloud cover breaking up. Only a brief respite as more rain is forecasted for later.
Take it easy.

Re: Weather
Pretty much the same here except rain will arrive a little earlier. A day to have a little clear up in the garage and take it a bit easy. Still very mild and wearing shorts, doesn't look like that is changing for the next couple of weeks, no heating required through the whole of October is a bonus!
Have a great day all

Re: Weather
After yesterday it’s the opposite today. This mornings walk was short and wet.
It’s brightening up a bit this afternoon but still chucking it down hard.

Re: Weather
Rain arrived at noon yesterday and it was on right through until some time this morning. Just got light, so we have broken cloud again, it's bright again and we have rain on the way for later again.
We're having trouble getting the 500gm tubs of Flora light we use, shops seem to sell out despite the price going up from £1 two years ago to £2.50 or £3 now. Imagine my surprise (not really) to find the 500gm tub is now only 450gms at the higher price

The Silly Springers wanted to run at 7am this morning and we agreed but blinking ‘eck we were warm when we returned an hour later! It’s hit 30degrees this afternoon so all activity has been minimal with our Cysgod awning shade being loved by all :-)

Re: Weather
Enjoy Angleseygirl!
A few showers today but otherwise a good day, went to Falmouth to get a few things, lots of people around but not many with their wallets open it would seem!
Naturally it was a chicken pasty for me and a power veggie pasty for Liz plus a couple of bacon slices from Rowes, yes it is a sacrifice but someone has to support the local economy.
Have a great evening all

Re: Weather
Yes, same here (now that it's light enough to see) and still mild. The sky is mostly clear and we expect a dry day for a change. At least until this evening with more rain on the way from the south. Busy day of socialising on the cards, I'm meeting my brother for a coffee then me and the boss are having lunch with her sister. I'll definitely need an afternoon nap later

Re: Weather
13 degrees dry and overcast, no wind but rain on the way later.
Quick bit of blowing and mowing to get done down the side of the drive, no more than an hour so best get that over with.
Going back to Tony's about the cost of Flora Light, the coffee shop in Falmouth yesterday, iced bun that a couple of weeks ago was £1.25 now £3.00 and I swear they have shrunk. Are some people just taking the mick?

Re: Weather
Down to about 14 overnight so an early start for todays hike so that most of the ascent done before the sun was high enough to bother us! Brunch at 1390m was a pleasant breezy 25 but the descent was a wee bit warm, though the Springers were still in hunt mode so it clearly wasn’t bothering them! Heat and 32000 steps led to a leisurely pm…

Re: Weather
Very pleasant yesterday until the rain arrived in the late evening, it's been on more or less ever since. It's dark, dank, dull and very wet outside with a gusty wind blowing. Temperature is up a bit though at 15°c. It should clear a little later but we have no plans to go out (but what do I know )

Re: Weather
Useable sort of morning, plenty of blue sky and mild, not so sure it will last long though. Pottering today, kitchen tap to tighten, might manage to get a few leaves picked up but a tip run is needed very soon as the trailer is nearly full.

Weatherperson on BBC this morning was showing beautiful "sunrise" photos, it's still dark here now Yesterday turned out to be a lovely sunny day and got up to 16°c. Today has started wet and overcast for shopping day, raincoats are at the ready.

Re: Weather
I always said to them "Anytime you are passing feel free to keep going" but it obviously didn't work. Nine in total now coming to stay for varying lengths of time, good news is they are all fun people and get on!
Overcast but dry, still very warm, no need for heating yet and still in the shorts so all good news for the energy costs. 14 day forecast is for it to stay mild, grass is still growing fast and rhodo's and camelieas are out in the garden, what is going on! Certainly not complaining though.
Off to fix the kitchen tap now, not dripping just become a bit loose, easy fix if I can get a six foot ancient body in to a small enough ball under the sink.

Re: Weather
It’s certainly a week of change here. After yesterdays dry bright autumnal day it’s grey and chucking it down today.
After last nights fiasco with the fireworks Muttly wasn’t too happy about going out this morning in case there more fireworks but he saw the rain that put him in a sulk.
He won’t be too happy tomorrow because he is going to see the vet about his stiff leg. That will involve getting in the car and going through the door at the vets. It’s normally me that needs therapy after his antics.

Still pretty dark outside but that will change on Sunday when the clocks change. It looks dry and a bit overcast but still very mild at 15°c. Forecast is for a bit more sun as the day goes on so I guess that means a bit less cloud .
Take care folks
