Re: Weather
After a rather breezy walk round Sutton Hoo it’s forecast rain any time soon. Sitting on the balcony outside the cafe it was blowing sand and pine needles about. The jacket tatty with chilly I had for lunch was really nice so I didn’t care about the extra flavours.
We are on the quayside at Bawdsey watching the boats bounce about. Maybe not a good day for getting the ferry to old Felixstow. As a certain Belgium said it will give you Mel de Mere.

Re: Weather
The breeze got stronger by half four followed by heavy rain. Now it’s a lovely evening with the sun setting over Old Felixtow.
It’s forecast for a nice day in Southend on Sea tomorow.

Dry cool clear starlite morning, space station shining brightly up there. Nice long walk with Tag, back for a spray, then a roll ( maybe two) and bacon, plus egg.
Have a nice day, take care if your traveling.

Windy dry and cold best describe this morning. Hopefully dry so I can chase fallen leaves around the garden 8n a rash attempt to keep it looking tidy.

Re: Weather
Heavy rain to start the day although the cloud is breaking up and the sun is peeping through. Very windy so I guess it's going to be a changeable day. No matter, it's shopping day.
I forgot to mention, on our last trip I encountered a chap having a shave in the facilities. Nothing unusual perhaps but he was using a brush, soap and an open razor Not seen one of those since my grandfather's small collection of them when I was very small.

Lovely start to the day with a slight breeze blowing in from the North Sea. It looks like it should be a nice day for our next move once we decide we’re we are going.

Re: Weather
Really nice day, good spells of sunshine, sunny mild and dry. Took the van down to the beach this morning so we could have a walk, back for coffee and watch the world go by.
Bit of a day off today, early shopping tomorrow and drop Lady G's Z4 off for its annual MOT, it is now 18 years old and only has a little over 20,000 miles on the clock, not allowed out in the rain.
I suggested we sold it and the word divorce was mentioned in the next conversation, oh well...
Have a great day all

Re: Weather
Much nicer morning than yesterday, winds have died right down and promised overnight rain seemed to have missed us. Number 2 daughter collected WXL yesterday for 10 day trip down to Sussex with her bestie. Not sure what I am going to do without the van to tinker with, but I do have the use of her Audi a1 for next few days.
Management's mobility scooter is booked in for its annual service early next week so going to Dundee this afternoon to deliver it back to the dealer. Think it is in for new tyres as tread worn out on current ones and grip way down on surfaces like grass or gravel. Hopefully she won't have her head turned by swankie new models.
Have a good day

Wet and windy start today, heavy rain overnight. Test today on the van, I hate MOT day. No longer allowed to stay and watch.

I feel your pain Paul, ours goes in next month for the test and I feel the same.
Yesterday turned into a horrible day of strong winds and torrential bouts of rain. Saving grace was the temperature remained relatively mild. With the leaves getting blown off the trees there was lots surface water on the roads.
Today has started wet and windy with a day of showers ahead. Good day for finding things to do indoors

Re: Weather
It must be MOT day, car delivered to the local garage and now awaiting the phone call.
Early shop completed, nice start to the day with blue skies and gentle breeze, managed an hour on the chair beds in the yard yesterday not so sure that will be repeated today as rain is forecast. Looking like strimming, blowing and mowing this morning!

Re: Weather
We managed a nice walk along the prom in Southend on Sea yesterday. It was a bit chilly sat in the breeze having lunch.
Today started grey and misty but as we moved father north it got quite warm by lunch time.
Now we are back in Suffolk it’s going from breezy to windy but not too cold. We are planning a chippy tea on the sea front so we will have to park our selfs in a shelter to stop the chips being blown away.

Re: Weather
The chippy tea on the sea front didn’t happen. The nearest shelter we could get into was farther than going back. Also the wind has really got up now.
Nothing better than a chippy tea listening to the wind outside with a nice bottle of Lidl best cheap wine. And no washing up.
