Re: Weather
Lovely bright and clear start to the day here also. The only dawn chorus this morning was the sound of the bin truck and crew on the main road. I can here a couple birds some were but they havnt ventured in to the garden yet.
Apart from a couple of jobs on the Rienza mainly fitting a check strap to the wardrobe door its going to be a workshop day. If the weather holds I can leave the door open for muttly to wander about..

Re: Weather
When I opened the kitchen blind this morning, it was looking like a lovely sunny day with clear skies. Twenty minutes later it's overcast and raining
Thanks for asking Boaby, still a bit sore but getting back into things as much as possible.

Cracker of a morning, clear blue skies and nine degrees so a day off today. Heater is on in the van, coffee made ready to head off to the beach. Finishing the roof can wait!

Re: Weather
Brisk frost overnight. Log burner nice and toasty (saves oil, the cost of which has quadrupled!).
Sunny intervals now.
Prepped the van before its hab service next week - de-winterised and emptied underseat lockers etc. It was only when I loaded the contents of one underbed storage area and put the contents into a wheelbarrow to take to the garage that I realised how much we cart around!! Emptying the spaces for the annual hab service is a chore!

Re: Weather
Beautifully sunny day now here in Essex and have managed to wash off some of the horrible Sahara dust. It has found its way into every nook and cranny, in the door mirrors, grilles, anywhere in fact that presented a flattish surface! We (only me here at the moment) have yet to clean the roof properly but I have managed to wash off the worst on the solar panel and roof lights. It will still be in the surrounds and drainage grooves but I am not attempting that without someone holding the ladder!

Cool dry frost free night, light covering of sand over the area, finer than the usual sand we get during onshore winds.
Nice walk out with Tag.

Re: Weather
Another sunny and bright start but this time we're promised some decent weather for a few days. It is a bit colder but we'll take that (as Gary would say ).
Much as I'm sports fan, the amount of stuff (between horse racing, football and rugby) on TV over the next is a bit OTT. Need to dig out a book

Another bright start to the day here. It seemed warmer this morning when muttly decided to go out and mooch round the garden after he had a bit of breakfast. It’s nice to be able to leave the garden door open and let the day in as my Grandma used to say.

Re: Weather
Beautiful morning here, shopping done, nightmare at M&S, no tills working you can only pay cash....except the cash machine wasn't working either so people were just dumping their bags and walking out.
Plenty of geese on the river this morning which is good to see, early coffee then back to finish the roof, nearly there now
Have a great day all

Re: Weather
Roof is done just the verges to do now, should be easy enough. Had to take the regulation siesta after lunch, warm enough for stubbies out of the wind, long may it last like this.

Re: Weather
Chilly start but no frost, clear sky and sunny again. Forecast is for it to get up 15°c but our garden is a sun trap, if the wind stays light. Could there be a BBQ on the horizon?

Re: Weather
Hope you got that BBQ in Tony, sounds good to me!
Forecast was a sunny day, sadly it wasn't to be cloud cover all day long and a cool easterly breeze. Two days ago in shorts and today needed a body warmer, guess that is what makes the British weather so interesting.

Re: Weather
Another sunny start with clear skies. BBQ could have happened weatherwise, it was certainly warm enough to sit outside.
Unfortunately a more pressing issue came up, my 15 month old (HP) wireless keyboard packed in, it was as dead as the famous parrot in Monty Python I had to go and get a replacement instead

Cooler start with a light frost this morning but the sun with soon deal with that. Weather forecast for the next week or so looks quite promising.

Re: Weather
12 degrees and a nice sunny morning, woke to the sounds of geese flying noisily overhead which was enjoyable. Have to take Lady G to the osteopath this morning so writes off half the day but time to get out and move some scaffolding first. All fun and games here!!!

Re: Weather
Almost identical start to yesterday here but no frost, expect it will warm up nicely later. It would have been a great time to get over to the storage unit to rearrange the dirt on the van but I'm not quite ready for that yet

Had to get a pasty from Rowes yesterday absolutely delicious. Sunny morning again a little breeze but good for grass cutting. Long may this weather continue.

Re: Weather
A lovely bright and warmer day this morning. By the time I had walked to my appointment with the foot lady I was quite hot. I walked to the barbers with my fleece undone.
As management was out for the day I managed a full day in the workshop with the door open. The resident male blackbird is back. Muttly stood in the garden watching the blackbird running along the fence.
The breeze was quite chilly by four so we retreated indoors for a brew.
