Washroom sink
the hose seems to have become disconnected on the sliding sink in washroom , therefore it pours water out onto floor. I can feel the elbow pipe but the hose isn’t attached. Has this happened to anyone? Is it easy to fix perhaps from the top looking down into where the hose is? Or does the entire panel at the front need to be removed and therefore resealed after?
I can live without it. The shower seems fine. I like the things I have however to be working!
Thankyou
Lorraine

Re: Washroom sink
So just in case anyone else has this issue.....I have fixed it! For once I managed it by myself lol. Rather than rummaging about blindly for hours searching for the unattached hose, I purchased a wi di endoscopy device for use with my phone. Only £20 on amazon and worth it!
Shoved the scope down into the fittings below and behind the sink and toilet area to locate the hose. Pulled it up with a hook and reattached to the elbow on sink. It’s not a great connection but maybe I could find better fittings later. I’ve attached a long string to the hose and tied it to the chrome slider bar for the sink so that when it happens again and just pull it up with the string. No more faffing about!

Sounds like a design flaw if the drain hose is just a push fit to a sliding sink in a vehicle that in effect is a box that rattles a d flexes when moving. Rather than continued need to retrieve with your string and re attach could you use a jubilee clip to make a firmer connection?. Not sure about access in the Fairford to do this

Yes, I am ordering the correct size jubilee clips. I only have rather small ones just now. It’s a very tight space to re attach hose never mind adding a jubilee clip. It looks easier to detach from the actual sink, pull through, add clip and reattach to sink.
I know what I mean , honest!

So do I, that is what I have just done in the engine bay of my WXL for the drain hose from the scuttle, much easier to put clip on hose, position hose then slip clip into place.

Re: Washroom sink
This happened to us when we first had our fairford, we managed to refit the hose and it came off again, so I refitted it and put a jubilee clip on it, you can get a flexible tool for jubilee clips it looks like a screwdriver but has a hexagon on the end that fits the jubilee clip. I think you might need the tool to do it in situ.
I feared the hose would fail completely eventually due to sliding the sink back and forth, so we no longer slide it and have fitted another shower head holder to facilitate using the sink where it is opposite the toilet.

Thanks for the above, Toffee. I didn't know such a thing existed, but I can see how useful it could be in a tight space. Have just ordered one. It may, of course, join those other tools which I have also thought might be useful .... but have yet to be used in earnest!

Is it possible there is an attachment on my drill set? I shall dig it out. It’s just a small black and decker one
