Quite a breeze this morning, sunny and a tropical 8 degrees, doesn't feel like it though cold

Sure it will warm up a lot later and we can back on the sunbeds this afternoon, found two new Blue T nests yesterday, you put them up nice new boxes and they build in some camelias that are ready to be cut back. Glad the mojo is back Boaby and hope the dentist goes well Tony! allthumbz

Dentist was fine, doing a replacement for a crown that was fitted 15 years ago by a previous guy. He and the nurse were kitted up like they were going into a nuclear bunker before doing the drilling snigger Funnily enough, I'm still "technically" an NHS patient but it's amazing how often I get "the NHS treatment for this is not very good, I can do the private version for £x", this crown for example.

Very warm here now, might shed the balaclava hugegrins

Crackin day here to Tony, me and Tag headed out down the south beach and I met up with an old pal, we had a bacon roll and a brew, then headed back in later than usual.
Our dental appointments have been knocked back three weeks.
Ideal weather for a BBQ here today, really warm already  hardly any breeze.

Happy St Georges Day. Back from the early shop, sunny and dry but quite a stiff breeze on the South coast of Cornwall, still in stubbies but needed a jumper first thing. Looks like it should be a good one later, really warm out of the wind yesterday, starting to look like quite tanned now, going for the Robinson Crusoe look wave

Our skin is usually a healthy "off white" from our trips away here and abroad. The consultant I saw last week took bloods to analyse, he wrote back to it was all good except I'm vitamin D deficient scratch head I didn't know that oldies are advised to take supplements over the winter months because of the lack of sunlight shrugg

I'm going to soak up some sun today, as well as soaking up some lager and red wine hugegrins

Looks like we're all getting another dry day allthumbz

I grew a beard for a month when in my early 20s, didn't like it so shaved it off and never tried again. Funny thing was, for years afterwards people at work kept referring to me as the big guy with the beard scratch head

Indeed it does, clear blue skies, pretty windy down here though. Squirrels are smashing all the bird feeders, might pick up some better ones as we have to pop in to Truro today.
Takes me ages to grow a beard and then it just looks like something has crawled across my face. Going back years ag I used to supply aircraft to a cruise company called Swan Hellenic, the owner Ken Swan absolutely refused to do business with anyone who had a beard, their would probably be a "bearded lives matter" movement if he did that now. allthumbz

Enjoy the day all.

Cool and frosty this morning, still dry and sunny, earth is cracking open in lots of areas.
Very noisy Blackie Dawn chorus, the males seem to be scrapping each other after months of feeding alongside one another.
Great walk out though have a nice day.

Looks like our last warm day for a while, tomorrow will be a bit more unsettled. No complaints though, we're doing ok weather wise. We have friends coming for an alfresco lunch today, we haven't seen them for nearly a year. Not sure I can remember how you make conversation now hugegrins

Another cloudless sky to start the day, still fresh in the breeze though. Really windy yesterday seems to have dropped a little today. James Dyson's 1930's yacht is moored in the harbour presently, getting a bit of a bouncing around! Loading the van with the final things ready for the off tomorrow morning, only just up the coast but will be great to have a couple of days away.
Plenty of aerial dog fights happening, mostly gulls vs buzzards or what I think are crows or rooks vs buzzards, fascinating to watch, buzzards seem to shrug them off even if they are outnumbered.
Enjoy your lunch Tony.

It looks like the run of bright dry weather has finished for now. It was bright and cold this morning whilst I was doing a couple of TLC jobs on the Rienza. By lunch time it’s clouded over. We can blame management for the change because she watered all her new planted things this morning.
She is gunning for one of dicky bird mobs. Her newly planted lettuce plants have been noshed. There are just stalks left, the leaves have gone. I could say she should have netted them but that could cause more agro than I need.

Thanks all, not going very far at all, just up the coast but isn't that the beauty of our vans you really don't have to. Weather looks OK for the next few days so hopefully lots of walking along the clifftops and relaxing. The last bottle of chateauneuf du pape has been loaded and will be enjoyed accordingly. Weather - Page 17 1f377
