Grey but not cold, winds are light.
I hadn't even finished putting out the feed this morning and the Robin was down.

Heading out for a wee walk to stretch my legs and do a nosey. Someone at the other end of my street has been doing up a T5 over the last year and it got a new raising roof fitted yesterday. Only right I take a closer look
Managed a wee stagger to the newsagent and stopped to have a look at the vans. I say vans because he has two, a completed one on the short wheelbase and one in progress on the long WB. Oddly they both are badged "transformer" on the rear and I can't find any reference to that online He's doing a cracking job though.

Re: Weather
Another quiet overcast day, birds busy on the feeders, all a bit spooky really we can usually hear a little traffic noise, the odd tractor or chain saw in the distance but nothing this morning. The vans (two of them) stored in our grounds by our neighbours following an attempted break in to one, have gone back to their places now so not even seeing activity there.
Strange times indeed.

Re: Weather
A bright if a bit chilly start this morning as we had to be up early for a call from managements family in Australia. They can’t do the time difference.
It seemed a good chance to get the rest of the Rienza washed. After I washed the roof the muck had run down the front leaving green sludge on the bonnet. I know it’s not been moved far for a while but I didn’t realise how yucky the side next to the hedge was.
Next move is to have a go at the trim strips on the sides. I did a search and it was suggested using something called Pink Stuff. I remember daughter buying some ages ago so a dig under the sink was in order. I am fairly domesticated but god knows what half of the stuff is for.
One thing I did find that made me stop and think was a bottle of dog shampoo. We used to have some battles trying to wash muttly. He knew what was coming so needed cornering.

Mild morning with light cloud, last dry day for a while it seems. Our local (Scotland) weather forecast even mentioned snow for some this week

Re: Weather
Another dry if a bit overcast day here this morning so I tried the Pink Stuff on the trim strips. I can’t remember who suggested it but works bringing the trim clean.
I started on the n/s rear corner thinking this was the worst bit until I moved to the o/s. The trim is not hidden by the awning so it took longer to go the whole length of the roof line. To my surprise a bit of gentle rubbing even took the mark from the wheelie bin off the corner of the bumper.
I think my prescription will be ready for collection for collection this afternoon so we will walk up to collect it.

Re: Weather
Flat, dull but mild morning. Rain is on it's way (according to the frog on my weather station) later so we need to get out. I've been informed that we have some essentials to get at the homeware and garden sections of our "local" store.

No French weather forecasters down here Tony.....
Far too nice too early this morning, glorious sunrise but starting to cloud over a bit now. Hoping to get a walk round the village this morning. Woody tapping and chirping away merrily, suddenly nyger seeds seem to be the in food with the birds, haven't touched them all winter now they can't get enough!
Geese seem to be flying off now, very disappointing season not been many around at all.

No foreign nationals were harmed during the production of the weather forecast........we have a couple of these inside with sensors outside at the front and rear if our house.
Bit dull and damp, shopping day so no matter. Our garden has taken a bit of a battering from the winter weather, quite a few plants will have to be replaced. That should keep the gardener busy

Re: Weather
Some dark clouds about and heavy showers on the cards for later. Still relatively mild but dropping overnight by 5 or 6 degrees. Clocks going forward on Sunday should give us all a bit of cheer with lighter evenings
