Light showers overnight, looks like more of the same today and it's become much cooler. Got my second jag later then got to take the van to the garage for it's service so busy day ahead.

I knew I shouldn’t have watered managements plants the other day. It’s grey and damp here this morning.
Typically when we have planned a week away the weather changes. No matter we won’t be held back by a bit of damp. We are geared to all weathers, we are British. Some of our camping with kids and a dog in a tent in pouring rain was not to be repeated. The current muttly wouldn’t care if we stayed in and let him sleep for the day. walkies

You might feel the need for a wee half Tony, after the jab, just in case of any " side effects"   hugegrins , my big service (4th year) cost me over £500 , 20% of that is tax  blushes
Rain showers have eased abit, filled up the pond though.

Morning all. We are at trewethett farm near tintagel, very sunny yesterday and today a little more cloud but still bright and dry so long walk this morning.
If you haven't been it is a lovely cliff top site but wouldn't want to be here in the rain and strong wind. Forecast is downhill from now rain arriving tomorrow so will head off then. Enjoy your trip Dave.
First sign of what we're swifts or martins yesterday they had the half moon shape wings but not swallow tails.
Enjoy the day all will raise a glass to you all

Think I'll resist the temptation of a snifter and stick to the paracetamol (if I need it Whistle1 ) Weather has taken a turn for the worse here, absolutely pouring down, so much for showers rolleyes .

I'm being quoted £159 for the service, I'll wait and see what I actually get charged tomorrow shrugg Good news was the van started on the first turn of the key, first time I've fired it up since its MOT in November.

Heavy overnight showers have cleared the air, some standing water on hard surfaces, good walk out with Tag along the coastal path not to many other dog  walkers out at 4.30, thick cloud cover stopped any views of the sun rising.
Have a nice day, hope it drys up for you Hog and van service doesn't cost you the earth Tony.

Same here, overnight rain has left the place pretty damp but it's dry now with light cloud. The gauge has dropped again so cooler than yesterday. Today's fun is shopping, waiting to see if I get a reaction to the jab and taking the van back to storage after it gets serviced. Oh, and another trip on the bus to the garage, no social distancing on the buses now so the world must be back to normal scratch head

Heavy overnight showers quite a few people seem to be on the move today. Enjoying a lazy day today, walked from Tintagel ro Boscastle yesterday, quite a challenging walk with rough terrain and steep climbs. Great views though. Tag would have enjoyed it as hardly any other dogs around.

We did the walk with Maisie,  Hog, ended up picking her up as it was to hot as there was no wind below stone wall level, also lots of Adders on the trail.
Tag would probably love  it up!. However,  Carnt let him of led as he would be off on a scent trail.  shrugg
Breezy here with a n/e wind, ideal for washing.
Have a nice day.

I did really well then, snakes scare me more than bears and cougars ( the furry type) and luckily didn't come across any on the walk! Only fell over once as well so that was a bonus! hugegrins

We had rain forecast for yesterday and today, nothing yesterday an today we've got bright sunshine and fluffy clouds. Still cool though. Must be 40 years since we were in Tintagel and Boscastle, loved them up! All good with the jag and the van, no surprises thankfully.

Glad it all went well Tony, Chris have a safe journey home.

Home for us today as well, has been great having a few days away and forgotten how comfortable our now 9 years old Worcester is. Everything worked perfectly as well, I wonder if a new one would have been as good.

Cool and overcast this morning, Winter has returned for a few days I fear, swopping the cold drinks for soup again is on the cards.

Enjoy the day all.

Another sparkling start to the day, lovely sunshine and Blackies entertaining us as they compete for partners (or new partners Whistle1 ) Still cool though.

Glad you enjoyed the break GH, know what you mean with the van. We've contemplated the options but when it works for you, why change? Bugbear for us is having to use storage, as for moving house, see the last sentence biggrin

Much the same thoughts here Tony, we bought this house when father was alive and thought he would move in to the annexe, since he  passed several years ago why do we need a big house for two of us. Everything we look has the problem of where to park the van so all the while we can cope we will stay here as storage is not an option.
For the same reason why spend another £40K on a van we will probably only keep for  couple of years when the current one does exactly what it says on the tin! Once our motorhome days are over we will look again at moving as I suspect we will spend much more time in Canada and much less here.

Weather! Frost again last night and beautiful blue skies this morning, too blue so a sign rain will be here soon. Garden really needs it but I want to do a lot of weed spraying, not a good idea when the rain is coming.

Have a great day all

Overnight showers cleared by dawn, nice cool walk along the coastal path with Tag, sun covered by low cloud, still cool.
Traffic not as heavy as yesterday morning, dozens of caravans and campers heading for local campsites
Have a nice day and if your traveling, take care.

Another dry, cool start but sunny. Same predicted for tomorrow but it appears we have a nasty hitting us on Monday. If any of you folk are heading this way please remember the waterproofs shrugg We're not heading off for until later in the month but it looked like about half of the caravans and motorhomes were missing from our storage site.

Blue sky and fair weather cloud so far today, no frost. Lots of birds around this morning but being pestered by a neighbourhood cat, real killer the bleddy thing is. I know who it belongs too and also know if I say anything I will be told that is what cats do!
Looking to get one of those long range water pistols that children have see if that odes any good to scare it and the squirrels away....or if Tag isn't busy right now think_smiley_46

Have a good holiday weekend all!

I was given one of those water pistols as a "joke" present by a friend, it fell apart shrugg  I use an old Fairy liquid bottle for the aforementioned problem, the pesky varmints mostly clear off now when I appear at the door.

Wonder if it would work on  charity chuggers, religious evangelists and political canvassers  snigger
