Re: Weather
Fabulous picture of Glencoe on BBC weather this morning if anyone saw it.
Light cloud cover, sun breaking through and no wind today, mild too. Another good day for getting outside and carrying on with the jobs, painting, grass cutting and strimming on the to do list. Better than any gym membership, have a good day all

We seem to have more Mavis this year Tony, on a dry morning I can stand near one and listen to one singing its wee heart out.Askit wrote:Glorious sunny start to the day, cool still after a cloudless night but warming up nicely. Blackbirds are competing in birdsong from the highest points on several tree tops, really lifts your spirits
Rain not cleared yet,still misty

Re: Weather
It was grey and drizzling when I went to have the tracking checked at eight this morning. Done by nine and the drizzle had nearly stoped so I decided to wash the roof of the Rienza.
It hasn’t been done for at least a year. It was absolutely filthy but a good dose of Muck Off and a brush shifted it by lunch time. Unfortunately whilst cleaning under the solar panel I caught my finger on one of the mounting bolts. I now have one black finger nail as per one of the carry on films.
The rest of the washing can wait so I had some workshop time. The rain came back this afternoon but it’s a lovely bright afternoon now if a bit chilly.

Re: Weather
Same kind of start here except for the walk, the dog and birdsong We had a small delivery from B&Q this morning, they sent a text yesterday saying 07.20am. How we laughed. It arrived at 07.20 this morning (with the advance warning phone call 15 mins before).
We have the promise of another sunny day ahead so I might get the bike out.......and look at it

Gorgeous sunny morning, getting quite used to life in lockdown now so outside again clearing old leaves and more mowing!
Doesn't get much better, obviously will find time to get the sun beds out and inspect the inside of the eyelids later if the sun continues.

18.5 degrees on the car temp read-out yesterday, and that was on the move! Looks like it will be the same today. Not a breath of wind.

Re: Weather
A non weather day today, out of the supermarket by 0730 and quite a lot of traffic building even that early (I know Boaby and Tag think 0730 is lunch time)! Not cold, not windy, not sunny just light cloud and still. Huge gas tanker arrived in the bay today, dwarfs the town of Falmouth so have to take a look later.
Must change all the bird feeders today, still not much nesting going on

Re: Weather
It’s a bit brighter and dry today so I might carry on cleaning the Rienza and check the tyre pressures. I have the pipe to fit to the spare wheel to fit. Maybe that should be done first to save me lying on a wet floor.
I know it’s a couple of weeks before we can go out again but it feels good to slowly get things ready to go.

Quiet start to the day here, bit overcast but clearing slowly. It's already 13°c and warming nicely. Heading out for a wee walk to stretch my legs and do a nosey. Someone at the other end of my street has been doing up a T5 over the last year and it got a new raising roof fitted yesterday. Only right I take a closer look

Re: Weather
Another quiet day here too, skies somewhat overcast and no sun but very mild again. A day for a little more work in the garden then it is time to start attacking the van, just general maintenance so it is ready for the day we can use it again. It will get a good waxing as per normal in Spring. I always spread that job over several days if not weeks as the old bones are not up to it anymore even with an electric polisher!
Enjoy the walk Tony!
