Sun and showers today, very windy with a couple of trees down. Good thing about today was it was better than yesterday, not just the weather, hope tomorrow will be even better!

Gales have eased off, rain has stopped, although it's still chilly, it's dry, a breezy walk along the prom this morning,some big waves still coming onto the sea wall,I bet it's worse on the west side.

Much less windy today but still showery, so much traffic around at 0730 this morning goodness knows where it was all going.

Wind has now eased off completely and enough blue sky this afternoon to make a sailor a pair of trousers so altogether not a bad day.
No hat for now and long pants ( trousers) in the wardrobe

Bet Tag needed his sou'wester this morning Boaby!

Another sunny showery one down here, fairly mild and still a bit of a breeze blowing through. Think I will try to give the van its weekly bath today in between showers, I am starting a neighbours motorhome nest here, two of them parked here now on a temporary security basis! This follows some suspicious characters who got in to the garage of a Burstner, by sheer coincidence the owner had taken two expensive electric bikes and other things out the day before as it was going in to the shop for some bodywork repairs.

Lovely sunny day here, against all forecasts of heavy showers. The bird feeders are having to be topped up, either the few birds we see are really greedy or others are sneaking in when we're not looking

Rain is bouncing down, looks like it's on for the day so my plan is

Nice bright and dry start to the day here. I wondered what the rattling on the decking was earlier. A couple of sparrows were in an upturned plastic plant pot under the bench. It must have been blown in there during the windy weather.
I got a text last night from daughter. She is bringing lunch for Mother’s Day. Also I am getting paid for sorting her telly aerial.I usually get paid in wine gums.
 Hopefully our son won’t forget what day it is today.

Clear and sharp at the moment but grey skies on the windward horizon so it's not going to last.

A brighter and warmer start to the week. Maybe this is the time to start cleaning the Rienza externals. The roof can’t be put off any longer the bit we can see the most above the Luton is really grotty. The green streaks don’t match the rest of the bodywork.

Cool sunny morning, looks like it will stay dry today so we need to get the walking shoes on. Might even go for a walk

Bright early on but a little more cloudy now. First viewings on the bird houses we put up, no obvious takers yet but now optimistic.
Have seen bullfinches, nuthatches, long tailed t*ts and lots of others this morning, changed the diet a bit with sunflower hearts and better quality suet balls and it seems to have made a big difference.... or maybe the weather is just better and they are out more!

We are very lucky for cleaning the roof of the van, have a walled bank which I can drive right next to and just step on to the roof, no ladder required! I still use a spreader board though as nervous about point loads, Be careful up there Dave.

Glorious sunny start to the day, cool still after a cloudless night but warming up nicely. Blackbirds are competing in birdsong from the highest points on several tree tops, really lifts your spirits

Very wet with a fine rain. Squirrels around the feeder but nothing to have as I need to get more in.
