Starlite morning, no moon in sight ? Mild and dry, lots of Blackies and Robins.

Our birds appear to have gone into hibernation Saw a Robin yesterday but the only taker for the bird food is the scrounging squirrel. Dry and cold here but the rain is on the way.

No wind and it’s grey and cold ,not had any birds on the feeeders for a few days now ,not even Roland has paid a visit

Overcast, chilly and dry, great weather to cut back our boundary hedge, ,ready for our car canopy.

Same here with some patches of blue sky as well. Very windy on Sunday night and that brought the bulk of the leaves off the trees so most could be gathered up in one go. 

Everything in the garden now wrapped, sheltered, brought in or cut down so all ready for the worst.  This year we shall be here to experience it first hand rather than on the beaches of Spain.

Raining, windy and cold with a blast on its way from the north. At least (if we believe the advanced notice) we're going into a level 4 lockdown so I don't need to worry about going out

Below zero still outside, wee oil filled electric heater on in the van, Central heating on in the bungalow,must be getting soft.

Cool, clear and dry but no frost. Only birds doing the rounds are the Magpies and an occasional Robin. Bird food us disappearing so they must be up before us to get the grub.

Mild, dry and windy here with ( very) short bursts of sunshine. A fine display of red kites over the garden. Someone local feeds them and we get dozens of them wheeling and swooping above us. A wonderful sight and sound.

Cooler breezy morning,drying up around 5a.m, keeping the dog walks local for awhile, had some hassle with off lead mutts yesterday.

Was warmer when we were in Norfolk yesterday.

Lovely bright autumnal day here. I think we had best get managements Polo started today. It’s been stood for three weeks during our isolation. Maybe a run to the post office to send the Christmas cards to Australia. I presume post offices are open.

Cold frosty start with rain expected before lunch. Nice weather for a lockdown

Lovely dry bright start to the morning down here in the west - it seems to have  been wet for weeks now.
The Red Wings have finally arrived and are feasting on the abundant Holly berries that we have this year. Very few Blackbirds have returned so far this year, which is unusual, but a Thrush has already started singing, albeit brief, in the distant fields.
The sort of things that lift the spirits in this period of gloom.
