Very nice sunshine here at Misterton, sat in my shorts with a few John Smiths for after the roast lunch we had at the pub, last night here then home in the morning

Mild night, some cloud cover, very little sea breeze.

Not a cloud in the sky , a little mist from the river but a stunning morning 

Another dull start, we eventually got a couple of hours of sun yesterday but hardly enough to warm things up. Today looks like a similar routine is on the cards. Thermal underwear is laid out for later in the week with temperatures falling to single figures

I've got my moleskin trew ready and dug out my winter coat ready for the winter chill Tony.

The same sunrise from the opposite side of the Country, not a great picture but you get the idea! Another great day but tomorrow it all starts going pear shaped!

Cool clear stary morning,very little breeze, could be in for the last BBQ for a wee while.

Much cooler this morning but still dry for now. Time to wax the last part of the van before the wet weather arrives later.

Funny thing is I have no sense of smell at all, born without one so no idea what smell is. Quite useful at times though I do remember riding a motor bike that caught light and I had no idea until my leg started getting hot! Enjoy the bacon

Rain started at 10.30, 6 hours after forecasted.       ,that's winter started then.

We had a rain sandwich yesterday, heavy morning rain, sunny afternoon and rain again in the evening. Lovely sunshine today but chilly. More rain forecast over the next few days but I'm not looking forward to the cold blast from the north on Friday.

Brief dog walk, very muddy under foot.

Grey to the west ,clearing to the east ,the suns just making an appearance with no wind

Surprisingly the forecast was wrong Last night was clear as a bell and it's the same this morning, clear blue skies. Although the sun is out the temperature is struggling up to 10°c.

Winter draws on

beautiful day here too..... thinking of cycling the Glen Ogle viaduct  ...  autumn colours are coming out.

West of Cornwall a good mixture of heavy rain showers and sunshine, recording 13 degrees in the yard but it doesn't feel that warm!
Today's task is playing with the thetford crapice cooker to cut down the rattles, haven't done it for a year or so and it is loosening up again!

Thought about it once or twice but the 25mls up and 25mls down has put me off a bit. I've walked several sections at Loch Lubnaig and at Lochearnhead, cracker of a route

Heavy downpours throughout the day, really chilled down, when my in-laws were alive back in the 90,s we would from Lix toll to locheanhead ,have a pub lunch in one of the local pubs and stagger back. We would sober by then and drive back to killin to a roaring log fire .
