relays for engine cooling fan
I have had a problem where my cooling fans do not come on, I know they work as have an override switch.I have changed radiator thermo switch, radiator cooling fan resistor. So now looking at the 2 relays in the small box on the rad unit. Can anyone confirm the 2 relays in the small box on rad unit. I have a yellow 30amp 5 pin and a black 50amp four pin.
I have a Symphony 1995 Boxer 2.5d

so I suppose I am looking to see if anyone can check what part no relays they have either in situ or on a diagram, my handbook does not and after finding recently that my oil dipstick was the wrong one! I wanted to check, my local dealer says there is only one relay lmao

They are probably the fan relays, they can suffer from water getting in, I would strip and examine them.

I don't know the Boxer-based conversions, but by analogy with what A/S did with the Transits of that time, it would not be surprising if one of the relays had been added by A/S. On the Transit, Ford provided plastic housings for relays which were only partly used for the base vehicle, and A/S used them as well.
The giveaway tends to be that A/S use add-on insulated crimp connectors (which I personally don't use, because they don't stand up well to damp conditions) whereas the Peugeot factory loom almost certainly wont - it will have a more professional (though still crimped) finish.
