VW t4 Relays.
Hi everyone. I have a 1998 VW t4 and after looking at the 3 relays which are situated under the bonnet to the left of the battery, none of them have any markings or numbers on them. Could anyone tell me the names or numbers of each relay in order from left to right. Thanks

Re: VW t4 Relays.
Hi doubleh16. According to my handbook the relays, left to right are:
Split charge relay, EMC relay and fridge relay.
Does this help?

Yes that helps, do you know the identification numbers of each one as I would like to keep them for reference. Thanks

Re: VW t4 Relays.
The relays have on them (reading left to right):
Nagares
RLAC/4-12
12v/70A
02.024B
DC12v40A
and
02.024B
DC12v40A
The one on the right hand side has three fuses.
I'm no expert on auto or habitation electrics so hope this means more to you than it does to me.

relays
They are standard automotive relays. You can get them in Halfords, Maplins and most good auto factors.

T4 relays
Just as a further point to the earlier enquiry relay 02.024B does not show up on searches but you can pick up this standard 5pin 40a unit for about £5 at any reputable motor factors (unplug the old and take it in for reference). Oh yes, and as I found out, water ingress does not improve their performance!

Been there, got the T-shirt...
...and drew a picture. I noted the numbers on the relays, click on full-size picture to see it more clearly.
