Leak in pipe Empty Leak in pipe

Post by Keithv-max Fri Feb 19, 2016 1:21 pm

Hi, I was hoping someone could help. I seem to have a leak in the pipe that drains the kitchen sink on my Harmony. There is a small dribble were the pipe goes into the back of the unit and I can't see how you access behind the cupboard.
Could anyone shed some light at how I get at this pipe. Thanks.

Is it possible to get at it by removing the fridge vent outside?

Hi, if your van is like our Symbol, you could maybe just remove the sink, as it is only fixed to the work surface with four screws.

If this is a sink waste pipe, I would put the waste fitting as the prime suspect, not the pipe.
The waste fitting is the bit that is clamped through the sink drain aperture, accepts the rubber sink plug above, and also provides for attaching the aforesaid pipe below.

A thoroughly dried hand is the plumbers tool for detecting seepage here.
