Trident - what's that pipe?!
Hi all,
Sorry - newbie question. On the driver's side just in front of the rear wheel arch there's a hose/outlet with a cover screwed on. What is this? It's not the waste water outlet nor the fresh water drain.
Thank you.
Chris

If you could post a photograph that would help identify it.

Hi all,
Here's the picture. When I unscrew it, it's just the end of a corrugated hose.
Thanks,
Chris

Re: Trident - what's that pipe?!
Sorry, that is a new one on me, I'd have to get underneath to see what it does.
Hopefully another member will recognise it and advise.

Perhaps something to do with the Propex gas heater if it has one?
I seem to remember one of our Renault, RV50 or Rapport had the same.

Re: Trident - what's that pipe?!
Rose49f's picture looks like the exhaust for the Eberspacher (diesel fueled heater).
AS fitted them in the noughties. they don't seem to fit them any more. Perhaps it was the noise.

Re: Trident - what's that pipe?!
or the smell of diesel, the small diameter wiring, the low tolerance to battery voltage or really was it just that customers objected to using diesel when they'd already paid for electricity......AS did listen to that complaint!

yeah, you do have to keep the battery in tip top condition for it to work, but hey I save on gas in my Symbol that has only a 6 and a 4KG bottle.
