PB that was meant to be the third link in my post above but I posted same one twice, now edited. Those stoplocks appear often on Ebay secondhand, worth keeping a look out.

Just had a Cobra 4615 alarm fitted yesterday. It's a 2-1 upgrade making it Thatcham 1. Along with, steering wheel lock, clutch claw and Milenco Door Frame lock, I hope that's enough now.

Hi there,
In order of cost after a steering wheel lock:
o This modification in the sliding door
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Cost £2 for a cheap lock.
o Lock and chain between the two front doors. Cost about £5.
o This type of alarm. Cost +/- £15.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Put somewhere in full view, a thief won't know that it's not connected to anything; and it will let everyone nearby at least look up!
o Finally, it helps if you have a knackered old van that no-one in their right mind would steal and ALL things valuable are kept well out if sight.
NEVER forget the advice that an old Aberdonian farmer gave to me when I fitted a new lock to my barn door. "Dinnae do that." he said, "If they see a new lock they'll think there's something worth stealing in there!"
The barn was out in the country but in full view of a fairly busy road. Taking his advice I replaced the lock with a staple and never had anything stolen.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
