Water ingress on 04 Symbol sliding windows
Got a problem with water ingress on the sliding window on the sliding door on my 2004 Peugeot Boxer Symbol.
On the front section of the window at the bottom of the frame is a channel containing a removable rubber moulding.
This channel appears to fill up and seep over the edge & unless I've got a chamois tucked in there, the water runs down into the door panel causing it to buckle.
The grooves & drain holes are clear, I just can't understand what's causing it.
Any ideas? anyone out there had a similar problem?

Just had the same problem occur on my 1997 symphony and on going through past issues wondered if you resolved the problem you had with water ingress and how?

I've found that smearing some silicone grease (available in tubes from ebay/amazon) on the rubber seal especially around the bottom and lower sides after cleaning usually stops the leak. I use a cotton bud to reach the awkward bits. Repeat annually or as and when.
Worth a try.

Hi
I've got a similar problem on an 02 symbol. The bottom rubber has a split in it. I get 3 or 4 mm of water on the inside channel on the door window although it does not seem to get in any further I'm not sure if its the rubber or do they all get some water in both channels?
thanks

Although I've no obvious water ingress, the rubber channel at the base of the sliding windows (both sides) has perished on my '99 Harmony, are these rubber bits available anywhere ?
