Pre-season jobs
So we are picking up our Symbol in a week's time and are hoping to use it for the first time at Easter. We are planning on sterilising the water tanks before we start to use it but are there any other pre-season jobs that we should do?
Many thanks

Hi I would suggest put some water in and check everything is working on 12V. If you can, put it on hook up and check if everything is working on Elec. That way when you go away , no nasty surprises .

As above, really. Check that you have gas and it works. Don't know what sort of fridge, but some take a bit of firing up if not used for a while - mine certainly does. Several attempts after not being used for a few weeks then no problem at all.
Start planning what you are taking and where you are going to stow it
A bit of thinking and preparation will make that trip so much better - above all, enjoy!

Hi there
Well done on your purchase, bet you cant wait to enjoy it . I just wanted to add to the good suggestions above. Others found it beneficial to use it on the drive way first - use the on board facilities for tea, to sleep in and breakfast the following morning - its like a dry run, ensuring all in side works and makes sure we haven't forgotten anything before we venture further away. Good luck and enjoy it.

Hi ccmurray
I would just add to this list by mentioning the mechanical type stuff ie underbonnet levels, tyre pressures including the spare. Also make sure your know where the jack and tools are stored. Sorry if I am stating the obvious. Have a good trip.

That's great, thank you everyone.
We'll make sure to do a full test run on the drive before going away as you suggest - I hope the neighbours don't notice!
