My newly acquired Duetto
Good afternoon,
It's been a while since I last posted on the forum. Before I get into the meat of this post, I'd like to thank everyone who left a reply following my last one.
At long last, I've managed to get someone out to change the tyres. The fitter brought some tools along with him to be able to get the locking wheel nuts off before fitting the new tyres. Next step, booking the van in for a MOT and a full service. As it has been standing for some time, it will need the mother of all services.
I've managed to buy, off ebay, all of the missing crockery and replacement cupboard push locks. In addition, I've bought new fire extinguishers, a gas bottle which I've fitted but left the gas main valve off, gas warning signs and a fire blanket.
I've started fitting the new very shiny push locks and adjusting the doors so that they don't rattle.
All of the curtains have been sent away for a through cleaning.
I've been in contact with a company called Caravan Services, I'm waiting for their engineer to thoroughly check and service the appliances, giving the van a habitation check and issuing a habitation certificate. Failing that, the is a company in Hampshire who services Auto Sleepers who I'll be contacting.
Finally, as my Duetto is a four berth, and I'll be travelling alone, there are the upper bed mattresses and infill cushions surplus to requirements abd in good condition. If anyone wants them, let me know, I'm giving them away. Collection please.
Once again, many thanks for all of the comments. My Duetto will rise again.

As has been said before don't get rid of anything fitted as standard to an AS van as the lack of it is sure to reduce the 'vans resale value! Put any spare kit in dry storage.
