Flojet pump packed up Empty Flojet pump packed up

Just gone away today, filled up yesterday, pumped into hot tank fine but just arrived on site and no sound at all from pump, have checked fuse ,ok, and have checked 12v to pump also ok but absolute silence. Only replaced it last year (maybe 2022). Phoned a dealer in town we are heading to tomorrow and they say they have one, so hopefully a quick swop will be possible. For now we make do with 2 gallon container and kettle.

Pump not making any sound at all, surely pump would still run if airlock. After filling yesterday I ran it fine until any spluttering stopped.

Have you tried giving the end of the pump a smarting tap. The micro switch may have stuck.

Yep, whacked it loads. I suspect pressure switch on end of pump.

my old medallion had a new pump at approx 5 years old , about 4  years later I bought it , after a further 14 years of use the replacement pump started to be intermittent . pressure switch on the end was ok so I dismantled the motor to find the brushes inside had very little wear but the wire from one was just catching inside of a copper coil connector stopping it sliding against the armature , simple bend the coil and reassemble, pump worked better than it had done for years.
