New water pump
On my first trip out in my 2001 Symbol I had a water leak, as stated earlier. I also thought the water pump was noisy and the water fell in lumps from the taps rather than flowed. So, off back to the dealer to have it checked. Result, today had new pump fitted which initially didn't solve the lumpy water. However, a very good bloke who managed to find the reason, sorted it for me.
Behind the board holding the electric switches, below the oven, in the cupboard, was a kinked pipe, must have been kinked for alot of its life, not quite kinked to stop the water flow but enough to wear the pump out. Hence the noise from the vibrations caused by the poor old pump trying to force the water by the kink.
This good bloke had the biggest smile on his face when the water flowed like it should, equalled by my own smile at having persued the problem, under warrenty, no charge.
