Which Shurflo Pump?
Hi all,
I think it was about this time last year that I posted concerning my water pump and some great advice got it through another year, but I think it has given up the ghost for good now and I need to source a new one. This has turned out to be trickier than I thought, I am not really sure what sort of model it is, so it is difficult to find one to order!
can anyone help with identifying this pump, I will insert a picture below
Cheers

Not sure if this has worked, if not my apologies

Re: Which Shurflo Pump?
I think the normal pump fitted is a. Shurflo Trailking 16psi but that is no longer available new (used ones usually on EBay). The lowest rated available now is a 20psi which should not cause any problems. Higher than this could cause joints to separate.

Hi
Assuming (never assume) you’ve got a Carver Cascade heater fitted you’ll need something like this:

If you go above the 20 PSI version you’ll be above the pressure rating for the heater. I’m not sure if the fittings will be the same after 20 + years but it comes with new fittings anyway.

Re: Which Shurflo Pump?
Had to replace mine at end of last year - it gave up on us but it was manufactured in 1992 so 24 years service is not bad.
Ours was a 20psi unit with 4ltr per min flow but manged to get a brand new one from Highridge Caravans (see link below) for about £68.00. This one is 20psi but has 7ltr per min flow. Apparently it is the psi that is important.
Ask for their spares & repairs department - they also have good technical advice support.

Hope this all helps

Not only is this the one to go for, it's also the best place to buy from......you won't get it cheaper locally, not even after p&p. I've bought a fair bit of stuff off this guy as his prices are less than what i can buy local. I bought a new Shurflo pump from him last year.

There are 2 used 16psi ones for sale on Ebay ...(both same seller, so guessing breaker/dealer)
