A lovely bright if chilly start today. Whilst I was having breakfast the garden was invaded by a mixed flock of birds mostly blackbirds but a couple of blue * Inappropriate Word * appeared later. By the time we had our walk the solar fountain was running showing how bright it must be.

Have been waiting all year for a tree surgeon to come and cut back a large eucalyptus and oak tree; after weeks of fine weather they are here today and tomorrow and at present dodging the heavy showers.

A rather chilly 5 degrees this morning. Not raining at the minute but no doubt it will as soon as I leave the house.

Well I'm used to getting differing weather forecasts but getting them from the same source scratch head

The "big" BBC says it will be dry, our "wee" BBC say we will get showers shrugg

It's dry and overcast just now so who knows.

Yesterdays bright day has gone back to grey and damp this morning. We need to go and feed daughters fishes but I think we will go in the car. It’s not far to walk but the paths will be muddy. Muttlies big muddy feet on her carpet won’t go down well.

Bad tummy kept me in this morning, brief walk with Tag, dried up although muddy on the grass, forecasted for more rain later.
Stay inside and keep dry.

Been a nice day here managed to take the van for a decent run and get management out in the sunshine

Wife reacons it was the clapy doos that upset the gut GH,feeling much better this evening thanks.

Morning Boaby, hope you're feeling a bit better today.

A rather cold 5 degrees this morning but it feels colder. Dry and forecast to stay that way but the temp isn't going to get much warmer, only going up to around 7 or 8.

Morning Dave,better night ,sleep wise, feeling better after a walk with Tag,not to far away from the hoose .
Dry, overcast ,no wind, forecast is terrible over the next few days.

Glad you're feeling a bit better Boaby, I used to have an iron constitution but have to be a bit more careful about my diet these days (I'll spare you all the details biggrin

)

It stayed dry enough yesterday to get some washing dried outside, helped by the stiff breeze. Looks like a similar day today before things start going downhill. Out for coffee this morning and a bit of (required) birthday shopping think_smiley_46

Sunny start to the day but the clouds are gathering, more plant pots to put in the greenhouse this morning. I put the long screen cover on the van yesterday, not because it is cold but because it will stop all the leaves building up under the hood. Dreading what will come down if we get the expected storm full force.

Thanks but not my birthday, it's my wife's in a couple of weeks. I "celebrate" in July with the French biggrin

Still got some drizzly rain which will undoubtedly become heavier as the day goes on. Busy day today will lots to be getting on with. Hope everyone keeps safe as the nasty storm hits later.
