Warwick XL sliding door.
I am unable to open the sliding door from either outside or from inside. Neither the inside handle or the outside handle seem to release the lock. Any ideas?

I believe the seals have stuck you need two one to push from inside and another to pull from outside at the same time pulling on catch.

Re: Warwick XL sliding door.
I second Gef’s point. We had this happen several times on our previous Kemerton and thought a linkage had broken on the latching system, but it was always sticking seals to blame. Try opening from inside, and put your weight against the door to help push it outwards while simultaneously operating the internal opener.
After a few instances of this phenomenon I applied Gummi Pfledge to the rubber seal, based on recommendations from forum members. See link below. It’s designed not to adversely affect the rubber, but I guess you could also use Thetford seal lubricant if you have it, or silicon spray, which is probably the former in everything but name!

Re: Warwick XL sliding door.
Thanks for the advice but still no luck. I Can run a credit card between the seal and door , where i can access it. Struggling to access the linkage, any tips? For info, just had 3 months away and the door handle felt a bit slack, not sure quite how to describe it, not quite as tight as it had been. It still worked but sometimes it struggled to release the catch and we had to open the passenger door and release from the inside. Don't know if that gives anyone any ideas.
Thanks for the help.

The only thing I can suggest is to remove as many screws holding the bottom trim as possible and you may be able to get your had in there and have a feel for the cable or the latching rod and free the door

Re: Warwick XL sliding door.
Does not solve your issue but for info. I had intermittent opening of my sliding door using out side handle but would always open from inside from day one of new van. It went to Peugeot via dealer and a cable in door was replaced to cure issue. Maybe you have a stretched cable or broken.Access to door internal workings are very difficult on Warwick with furniture in front.
Hope you find a straight forward cure but it sounds similar to my experience.

Good morning, just had a look in mine but you can remove the 3 screws from the inside of the door when it is closed not sure if you could pull cable from there. If you can try pulling cable with pliers while someone pushes door in from outside to get pressure of the catch. Kevin

You can remove all screws from that panel with door at various points of open using stubby screwdriver from top and going up from bottom outside.
