Sliding Door Empty Sliding Door

I have to slam the sliding door when i close it from the inside how can i avoid this.

I find a gentle attempt to close the door usually fails to close it completely (so it can be locked or to keep rain out) .. From outside you can push it in as you slide it, from inside you can't. A hefty slam is the only way I can usually achieve a fully closed state in my experience. If we are in and its not raining we dont always fully close it and settle for a closed, but not well enough to lock it state.

Read somewhere that someone had put a handle on the inside to close door without banging it. maybe the VW T4 Owners forum

Hi,
My symbol used to need a hard slam occasionally causing the window blind to fall off. I cured it by spraying clinging type lubricant into the door runners through the holes in the rear of the door, door slid closed and latched easily after that,

I fitted one to my Warwick Duo removing the trim after reading the thread above. Makes it much easier to close but you still have to give  it a bit of welly!
