T4 Trooper canopy help & advice please
Hello All,
We have a T4 Trooper circa 2000 and we are hoping to add some kind of canopy to it. Could I ask if anyone knows of a suitable canopy that can attach to the Trooper that doesn't involve changing the rail. Our van looks to have a rail on it but I'm not sure if its factory fitted.

As an example, the Reimo Palm Beach one looks ideal, but looks like you have to get REIMO rails.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best Wishes
Andy

Hi Andy. We used a canopy like this on our old Splitty:[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
We got it from Just Kampers back in the day, so that might be a good start. It joined the bar from the canopy to the van gutter rail with a much less sophisticated clamp than this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Taisioner-Photography-Reflector-Umbrella-Accessories/dp/B0BKPZNJCH/ref=asc_df_B0BKPZNJCH/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=641479130877&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17879651680437896833&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006886&hvtargid=pla-1946997517395&psc=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwrMKmBhCJARIsAHuEAPRzNbOD5he9l5R71qk8S3PdXDufhsCa4F2wAKYVD0ka8VqWE9I2WJ4aAn1zEALw_wcB
I'm sure this doesn't massively help, but might give you some ideas

Re: T4 Trooper canopy help & advice please
Hi, I think you will find a Reimo "Charly" canopy ideal., Cost approx £85. Should fit your roof rail slot without a problem. I bought one for my T6 campervan, still have it , Have to say, as with Reimo products, it is very well made. Good material and comes with two adjustable poles and guy ropes, also fits neatly into supplied bag, especially when storage space is at a premium, I would have preferred alloy poles instead of steel but the poles are light enough and I consider it well priced for a quality product. Regards
