. Walked to surgery this morning for our flu jabs, not particularly sunny but quite warm. Supposedly zero chance of rain today.

Rain stayed away so far,still mild and breezy.
A83 on the rest and be thankful in between Ardgratan ,Inveraray closed due to land slips, my son has a long trip back home to Inveraray.

Glad we came home when we did although we seem to have missed the worst of it.

That's why the rail services were cancelled....

Rain hasn't stopped for over 36 hours and forecast says no let up until tea time, all the usual areas and roads are flooded locally but we seem better off than many areas, no landslip, road closures or canoeists on the High Street. Definitely a day for indoors.

After a stuffy night with the heating on due to our overseas visitor it was a pleasant if slightly damp morning walk. Muttly was a bit confused because the day hasn’t been colored in yet.
Off to the airport to deposit sister in law and then we can get our lives back again. It’s not been an easy four weeks for me and management but they say you can choose you’re friends but not your family.

Poor wifey in Moray can at last get out in the car without flooding danger.

Bit cooler than Qatar, when I drive to Holt this afternoon I don't expect blisters on my bum due to seat temp!!!

Pleasant 14 degrees and sunny this morning, ground still wet after weekend monsoon. Got some jobs done on van this morning, deep clean of shower, toilet and cooker. Will leave fridge and microwave for another day, also reinflated rear suspension, fuse on pump I carry in van blew when I went to do it in York last week. Ended up lowering pressure in one so balanced on way home.

Also have to deep clean toilet cassette compartment, management decided to use loo while I was away emptying cassette when getting ready to leave York, quick clean up carried out on site but want to clean properly. Consequence of so called fibro fog that affects cognitive capacity as part of fibromyalgia.

15 degrees here and, so far, rain has stayed away.  

We were supposed to have friends over from Falkirk last night but they were stuck due to the floods - pictures of a transit with flood water half way up the door windows.  Decided next weekend was a far better idea.

Well, it's raining now and plenty of it. There's a weather warning for most of the west of Scotland for potential flooding as water falls on saturated ground. Hope the weather is better in Whitby Boaby.

Morning Folks, 10 degrees and dry at the moment and the forecast is for sun later in the day although it won't get much warmer.

Yesterday turned out better than forecast with lots of dry weather, the brisk breeze made ut a fine day for getting washing dried. Looks pretty good for today although it seems we may get an odd shower, wonder what makes them odd

Take it easy on the fish and chips Boaby. We had the worst ever fish and chips in a Wetherspoons in Dublin at the weekend. The talented chef has perfected making batter with plaster of Paris

Indian Summer is over here, raining and much cooler. Forecast the same for the rest of week and beyond.

Morning Folks.  Cold one this morning.  4 degrees but it is dry and is forecast to be dry all day with the occasional sunny spell and reaching around the 11 degree mark.

3 degrees and dry here as well thin layer of ice on windscreens of both cars, still water on moho which faces opposite direction. Definitely feels autumnal and much colder than of late. Walked into town yesterday and needed gloves for first time this season.

Still in shorts down here, out at 0630 this morning to do the recycling and rubbish and the air felt really soft and nice, still quite warm. Grey and overcast now but dry although rain is coming later. Managed to cut all the grass yesterday so taking it easy a bit today, tidy the garage, bit of fettling on the van and a couple of security lights to replace.
Forecast is sunnier but colder over the weekend, down to 6 or 7 degrees overnight.
