Morning Boaby,
Cold this morning, 4 degrees. Looks dry but still too dark to say for certain. Forecast is cloudy all day. Taking the boss to the hospital for some tests this morning then it's home to a cuppa and feet up.

Sure is a day for the Doc: 'flu vaccination this morning. To make it easy, I wore a short-sleeved shirt and a sleeveless gilet. Hadn't spotted that it was only 6C.
Not much warmer by now - a grey day.
Regret replying on weather forecasts: we were thinking of going off in the van from tomorrow for a week, to Moreton in Marsh and to Bath Marina. Forecasts (BBC and Met Office) viewed Sunday morning showed a nice week. So booked and paid. Now what do I find? Both forecasts drastically changed, with very heavy rain coming! But having paid, we'll go, but not bother to take the bikes.

Re: Weather
Cymro, I got caught out by the same forecast. Getting warmer they said, rain clearing they said It's just a long weekend away and not too far away so we're still going (so far).
Bright and crisp morning with some mist. Should stay dry for most of today before the rain arrives tonight.
Take care all.

Cold here today but bright and clear.....for now!
Storm Babet tomorrow for 4 days, allegedly..
Re going away, unless a fairly certain forecast such as this we generally ignore all, surprising how few times we get caught out.

Re: Weather
Dry and 14 degrees but windy. Not sure how long it will stay that way though, rain is on the way.
Out to pick up a few piles of leaves and repair a broken plant support then that will be about it for the day. Car could do with a wash but no point if days of rain are about to hit us.

Re: Weather
Still dry and a bit overcast, probably will stay that way today. Looking ahead, our friends are heading up to a Perthshire site on Sunday, the site have contacted campers to say anyone booked for Thursday, Friday or Saturday can cancel and get a refund or rebook. They have also informed those on seasonal pitches to come and remove awnings to prevent damage from the impending storm. Perth is closing all flood gates (after the horse has bolted?).
Keep safe all.

It’s the Wild West here today. Very blowy, as it was all night, and rain chucking it down at times. This’ll soon get the leaves off the trees.

Re: Weather
Lovely day yesterday in Scarborough wandering along the prom. After lunch the wind had switched round making a bit chilly in the breeze. Even so we had afternoon tea at the clock cafe sat out side.
You could tell the dog restrictions are lifted for the winter. There were more dogs than humans. Muttly was at home with our son because we were having a couple of nights at a hotel to chill out after the four weeks with a visitor staying.
