Re: Weather
Snowdonia is a great choice GH, sure you would enjoy it. Sunny start for a wee change, still cool but it should heat up nicely. Quiet day planned, and you all know what that means A postscript to yesterday's shopping, I know prices have gone up but our checkout bills were truly shocking

Re: Weather
Few spots of rain overnight, cleared now with patchy cloud and very mild. Showers distinctly possible I would guess. Back from the early shop and in half an hour off for new tyres on the van, after 11 years and 30000 miles the old ones have lots of tread left, pretty impressive, at that age though best replaced I guess.

Re: Weather
This is starting to sound like a stuck record but its overcast and chilly once again on our bit of the east coast. This promise of warmer clear weather seems a false promise. No matter what happens I am washing the roof of the Rienza tomorrow. Its one of those jobs I have found every excuse to leave but I can see it from upstairs. Also the muck is running down the windscreen now making it look worse.

Same old, same old Nice quiet day yesterday, sitting out in the sun, relaxing with a book. Washing took about half an hour to dry in the warm breeze. Wee trip to Morrisons this morning as the boss wants some items that only they sell (apparently )
Enjoy your travels if away, going away or going home

Re: Weather
15 degrees and been sunny for couple of hours forecast to 18 degrees later, rehearsal in Dundee this afternoon for concert in Dundee tonight. Fortunately dress code is black so should be comfortable as we can play in shirtsleeves
Concert next Saturday as well, already forecast for 23 degrees, that orchestra dress code is white shirt, black bow tie and dinner suite, that one will be uncomfortable.

Re: Weather
At long last! Been cr8p since return from Spain on 22nd May, today sunny and warm combined
No rain forecast though haven't had any in May hardly at all, none so far June.
Off to Norway week Monday (one of my boats BP!) so it'll remain dry here and pee down in Norge knowing my current luck!!

What a difference a day makes, cool and sunny with a nice sea breeze at dawn, quickly turning hot as the sun appeared.yesterday cool at 14, now 20 in the back garden.
Have a nice weekend.

Re: Weather
At last the weather has cleared on our bit of the east coast. I spent most of morning washing the roof of the Rienza. It was pleasant up there with a gentle breeze but it certainly mucky. The underside of the solar panel was green.
Now I have to wash the muck off that’s run down. I still have daughters pressure washer so I might carefully give that a try. Hopefully it won’t get past the window seals if I stand back and set it on gentle.

Re: Weather
Lovely cool dawn walk before the heat of the sun takes effect, gentle sea breeze coming onto the coastal path.
Back in for a spray then rolls and bacon.
Have a nice day.

Re: Weather
Another lovely start to the day so far. Our daughter has invited us to her place today so that gets me out of any silly jobs . I felt ok after the washing yesterday but it’s caught up with me this morning. No matter I should be able to have a drink and let management drive home.

Re: Weather
Got quite cloudy around teatime yesterday and we got a bit of a shower. This morning it's warm outside but there has been overnight rain and the ground is wet. Outlook suggests it heating up again later on.
Thee was a big party going on in a garden somewhere locally yesterday, can anyone explain the point of setting off fireworks in daylight
Happy travels
Update, it's absolutely tipping it down

Re: Weather
warm enough but overcast and could rain at any time, zero wind this morning. Feel a bit of an easy day coming on and the thoughts might turn to where to take the van in Europe in August and plan a winter sun holiday for February next year. Someone has to do it. Getting to be a big fan of the camping car park system in France, good quality aires you can book in advance and at reasonable prices. What is not to like!
MOT on the van this week so give it a quick once over though I am sure it will be fine (that's jinxed it!)

Re: Weather
On NE Coast now, dull and 14°. Weather app said 45% chance of rain at 10am , that didn't happen, now says 84% chance of rain at 11am. If it does rain then , the rest of day forecast dry with high of 18. Sitting still until the rain passes, then a wander about.
10.38 and its just started raining. Didn't last long, 20 minutes .
