compatible seats for t1000 1988?
Hi all,
has anyone changed over their driver/passenger seats for moere modern and comfy ones? I'd like to get some second hand seats, but don't know what other Renault models are compatible.
I would really appreciate any info or advice please. I would like twin passenger seats, but don't think it would work when making up the bed..
thanks in advance for your kind assistance yet again

Have you tried asking on the RTMR? These vans are quite rare now - I don't think I've seen any other than motorhome conversions for at least a decade!

Andy used to be a member of the RTMR, but he isn't one now.-mojo- wrote:Have you tried asking on the RTMR? These vans are quite rare now - I don't think I've seen any other than motorhome conversions for at least a decade!

Ah, oh... Perhaps not then...
I used to be a member too, but sold my Rapport (God, I hated that van), so there wasn't much point in staying!

Hi Andy,
I fitted some leather seats out of a Kia Sedona to my 99' T1000...these were the smaller rear removable seats
I removed the original twin passenger seat when I first got the van, A standard drivers seat & seat box bolted straight in. The original renault seats are quite narrow at the base so you dont want seats that are 2 wide at the base.
