Compatible TV
Hi
I just picked up a 2018 Kingham and it already has a TV bracket on the wall.
I was wondering if these brackets are standard and if so what TVs would fit?
Very new to campervans so any help would be appreciated
Many thanks
Marc

Re: Compatible TV
I would let your choice of TV dictate things rather than letting the bracket decide what TV you get. I have found a cardboard template of the TV dimensions works well in seeing what works.
TV’s and the brackets generally have a standard called VESA (plenty of info online).
Any chance of putting a picture of your bracket on here and the measurements between the holes?

Re: Compatible TV
That looks like one half of a ‘quick release bracket’. The other half is fitted to the back of the TV. For now, I would remove both halves of the quick release (4 screws on the arm and 4 screws on the TV).
I’m guessing you will then probably be left with a 100 x 100 VESA bracket on the wall.
Might be worth a forum intro by the way.

Re: Compatible TV
That, as Dave says is a standard vesa mount the QR bracket is screwed to
I always recommend CELLO Tv's as British made, built in sat Rx and DVD player and 1/3rd price of Avtex. Had 2 (one left with old MH) both perfect.

Thank you, the other TV we have is a CELLO funnily enough, wasn't sure if it was a good make or not but seems to be pretty good, Got it from the dealer and they said it may need a new aerial because they couldn't get a signal but just needed tuning in the end lol ...

Re: Compatible TV
By all accounts from reviews on here and a VW forum I was on before, Cello TV’s are indeed excellent.
My 6 year old Avtex was still going strong a year ago when I decided to treat myself to a new TV. Despite the cost I went for another Avtex and don’t regret it.
Just throwing another view out there. Other makes have been recommended on here but personally it would be a straight choice between those two.

Re: Compatible TV
Cello also market identical TVs as Ferguson and EMtronics. I have the latter and am very happy with it.

Re: Compatible TV
After using my TV for the first trip out this week it would appear that I have the same bracket as the O/P and wanted to correct my earlier post!
The bracket has the quick release built into it and is not as my earlier picture 2 separate parts.
You will simply need to unscrew the bit from the rear of the old TV and fit it on the new one.
