Battery charger for 1988 t1000 - Rapport 2...

Hi all,
I have a built in battery charger by the leisure battery under the hob/cupboard, but it doesn't seem to do anything even though the light comes on and the fuse is ok.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted including where I could buy a replacement if it's not mendable

The most conclusive test would be with a multimeter to see if the charger is putting out around 14V at its output terminals. That way you should be able to rule out displaced wiring or another fuse hidden away somewhere...

It's ~probably~ a Zig unit, and they can be repaired, but it seemed expensive to me last time I looked into it. A DIY repair would probably not be difficult if you can identify the failed parts.
